The Foreman who defeated Joe Frazier vs. the Tyson who defeated Holmes and Spinks. I picked Foreman via KO in the 6th round. Tyson might be faster and better defensively than Frazier, but Foreman is just bigger and the harder puncher.
Big George had one of the greatest chins of all time, great resilience and height/reach over Tyson.
Tyson was explosive, fast and spectacular head movement in his prime but he didn't have the guts Foreman did nor the chin. I think Foreman wears down and beats up Tyson, stoppage round 9.
Wrong his chin wasn't that tough for hard shots shown by Ron 1st round hard right had him in danger and hurt every round after and it doesn't matter what your crazy mind thinks from other crazy dummies stop repeating lies quotes follower
George was to slow and easy to read its on vid and that's all that matters so how does he win when he wouldnt land much you people are so idiotic watch matches idiot
And Mike was way tougher he took shots from razor frank Smith all big hitters
took a loaded shot from pinklon that would have stunned most and shock it off right after
nobody ever stunned or had him in danger from 1 big shot like geirge so you dont know what your taking about
I would too, George was too big and would take whatever Mike hit him with and Mike would fold under big Georges thudding punches.
Mike was a front-runner and a bully against average guys, when he fought propper top guys he crumbled.
Stop with the lie quotes dumb follower why did he beat Trevor razor and others who wasnt scared then dummy
And what do you mean to big so you mean height cause they were around the same weight idiot and no george wouldnt win when he was to slow and easy to read he wouldnt land much idiot watch matches stop repeating these dumb quotes
Cause mike beat bigger in height and his weight so why did you say that like george would be the first height never was the reason he was beat or was he beat by a slow easy to read puncher like george so picking him makes no sense since he never would land alot
Big George wears him down.
Only Ali was able to stop Foreman, and that was simply by wearing him down physically and mentally.
Nobody stopped George with pure power. Not Joe Frazier, Ron Lyle, or Ken Norton in his prime and not Michael Moorer, Evander Holyfield, Shannon Briggs, or Tommy Morrison when he was old.
Foreman would weather Tyson's early storm and stop him in the mid to late rounds. Foreman had the better power, the better chin, the better stamina, and the better heart.
Prime Tyson didn't have "an early storm" he had a 12 rd storm. And was almost impossible to hit. He only went off after he fired Kevin Rooney and Cayton, and went with King who used and destroyed him. And he had a rock solid chin until Buster Douglas put him down-after he was down himself for 14 seconds. And that was a Tyson, trained on Geisha girls, unmotivated, mentally unbalanced, life in a shambles. and much more.
Tyson would have beaten up slow Foreman, and hardly be hit himself, and never cleanly. Size didn't matter to him, and his short reach didn't stop him from getting in and fast punching like a kick from a mule.
Weeeelll....I certainly know boxing. My uncle was a carnival fighter, knew a sparring partner of Tommy Burns, who, when a very old man, I was introduced to him, and he gave me some old boxing gear like loosely packed 5 oz gloves, ropes , leather head gear, came down to our club to watch us train. Another uncle was a promoter.
I had a good amateur career 59-2, Used to correspond with Papp, who got a friend to write for him. I met them both at the Papp's 3rd Olympic gold. And I've been watching ever top fight for the past....I don't want to tell you how long.
I say that Foreman would hardly be able to hit Tyson, who even with a short reach could get in and demolish boxers of any height and weight, and hardly be hit. That is, until he listened to Don King and fired his dedicated manager Bill Cayton, and also his talented trainer and friend Kevin Rooney. After that, he just went through the motions, He was finished then but didn't know it. Stopped using his real skills and relied more on punching power.
So you're about 110 years old?

Alright well come back to me when your deluded fantasy becomes real and you find these sources of 'Tyson training with olympic wrestlers'. LOL.
Nobody who knows boxing would ever pick him over George Foreman. Everyone knows the latter eats up forward-only offense fighters.

I believe that Foreman then had not developed real boxing skills but relied on brute strength. And Joe Frazier was finished, by the ALi fights. He came in slow, and bending over so Foreman just uppercut him. He was asking for it and he got it. I certainly wouldn't back ANYONE to beat Tyson at his best. So I think in this make-believe fight, Tyson all the way. Foreman would have a tough time even trying to hit him cleanly or at all. Opponent's size didn't matter to Tyson, look how he always got to his man, even with a very short reach.
i would pick the old washed up 1990 Foreman to destroy a prime 1986 Tyson.
so don't even ask what a prime George would do to him
I would too, George was too big and would take whatever Mike hit him with and Mike would fold under big Georges thudding punches.
Mike was a front-runner and a bully against average guys, when he fought propper top guys he crumbled.
But you can alway look how often an easy an old very fat Qawi landed shot after shot on Foreman while taking very little on return before he totally gased.
- - George bounced Qawi from pillar to post.
What grade U in then? 1st?
George is to big and punches to hard, Mike is not a warrior he is a bully and nobody bullies big ol George.
Yea he punches hard but won't land much so what does it matter dummy when he was slow and easy to read watch matches you dummies expose yourself stop repeating dumb quotes others who don't watch say
In my opinion the young 218 pound Foreman who slaughtered Frazier to win the title would KO the prime Mike Tyson. Prime Tyson was a beast and prime Foreman was even more of a beast.
Yea Mike loses to george who was slow and easy to read cause mike fought the same as joe only a idiot who repeats and never seen Mike says that dumb follower

You crazy what would a young george do get destroyed cause his punches was slow and wouldnt land idiot

I’m not going fishing for sources ,I remember clearly his preparation for Bruno and wanted to work the clinch game pushing him back because Bruno trained with weights back then and wanted to match strength with him . You’re a known hater so it would be a waste of my time but besides that Foreman is not comparable to Mike he only had 2 title defenses and those guys were not as good as who Mike defeated as a 10 time defending champion. Jimmy Young simply wouldn’t pose any threat to Mike and Foreman relied on size ,this is the opposite of Mike who did everything better .

post some proof of this happening against multiple opponents. lol all of sudden mike was a weakling according to you. that's laughable. foreman himself got tied up and grappled by the smaller ali rather easily. young was able to do it as well and frustrated him to hell. foreman's not this master clincher.
Ali himself was extremely strong, don't let his flashy style in younger days fool you(although you are a fool) because that man could grapple with the best of them. And he was actually the same size as Foreman save a few pounds.
If Foreman got taken to deep waters by slick fighters, he could tire and and indeed his clinch game would suffer.
Tyson does not present that style. He is EXACTLY what Foreman wants to face. Plays right into his arms. The WORST matchup Tyson could ever dream of.
Watch the video I posted, and watch any Tyson fight. Especially the Holyfield fights, Evander completely man handled him. You know what Evander said after he fought Foreman? he said Foreman is the strongest guy he has ever faced and it was impossible to move him! This is a guy who did great clinch work against giant 6'5 245lb Lennox lewis but he couldn't budge big George..
Give me a source for Tyson training with olympic wrestlers because I find that extraordinary considering Tyson was so unbelievably weak and unskilled in the grappling department. He had zero leverage in the clinch and got man-handled by almost every opponent he faced.
Watch this video on Foreman. He was absolute poison for Tyson. Mike would be shocked and clueless as he'd find himself on the backfoot every moment of the fight. He would have no clue what to do except eat monster punches because he can't fight going backwards.

Tyson trained with Olympic wrestlers for Bruno to push a guy bigger then Foreman backward. None of what you say is actually true . Tyson gave his opponent a choice either get knocked out badly or cling for dear life , Foreman would have tired doing this ,even light puncher Jimmy Young tired him out there and knocked him down . No one in boxing history would defeat him without setting up shots , Foreman threw punches wildly from a mile away when throwing power and caused him to rapidly tire , MIke is not going to be an underdog here .
