His victims: Morales, Judah, Khan, Matthysse, Rios, Guerrero
As we see, he has beaten some of the guys that are also the part of Mayweather`s or Pacquiao`s resume, or even Canelo`s ( Khan).
This guy is underrated , because he lost to Thurman and Porter. When Ortiz jr. stops Samuel Vargas, people say he is top level. When Danny stops S. Vargas, it is just another day at work for him.

The only wins that shocked me were Khan and Matthysse, mostly Matthysse.
Rightfully so; Danny hasn't had a huge victory since 2013. Danny needs to step up his level of opposition and stop fighting the cherry picks of the division like: Brandon Rios, Adrian Granados and Ivan Redkach.
He needs to start challenging the contenders of the welterweight division. He is vastly overrated in my opinion.
Moreover, why has he never called out Floyd Money Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao? He has been avoiding and ducking those guys for years.
Vergil beat the cr@p out of Vargas @ 22 yrs old, Danny didn’t fight him until he was 28 yrs old. Also, Morales, Judah, Rios and Guerrero were all past their respective prime. However, Swift did beat a prime Matthysse and Khan so he deserves respect for those. Yet, Danny also lost to Herrera and had one of the worst cherry picks in boxing history with Rod Salka.
Hey Erik Morales!
:fing02:
It's not a great post because it was CLEARLY blatant. Look at Crawford's stance, he's squared up positioned to throw low because he didn't want to get clinched.
Bottom line, Crawford couldn't win it legit against a seriously damaged Khan, where Danny sparked the best Khan in half the time.
Lmao,Khan is literally jumping into Crawford..If you say so tho..
Solid fighter with a great chin. Boxers with legs will always trouble him because of his style.
He lost close decisions to Thurman and Porter and did not get dominated. He needed to add a different trainer but still has not done it so that might have affected him at the top level.
I don't think that he is under-rated. He just get crapped on too much
This is an accurate summation of Danny. He is a good fighter, not a great one. No one should be ****ting on him but no one should also be proclaiming in a HOF'er.
What gets me is that he simply has shown limited ambition. He seems to have been happy to slum it on the PBC plantation never looking to challenge himself when the opportunity was there whether it was Mayweather or others.
I was not mad at any of Garcia's losses but on my cards I had him beating Porter..I would not also be mad if someone who had Garcia beating Thurman..I felt it was a close fight...
I agree that people are underrating Danny after his losses
but come on, Morales??
dude was a walking corpse at that point. That's like giving credit to Larry Holmes for beating zombie Ali
Agree, he's basically a less skilled version of Canelo. cement feet and always trying to power counter. His defense is levels below ginger, though.
Can't agree with you here..Remember Garcia fought Morales twice..His first time in the ring with him,Morales was a live dog and if I'm not mistaken the favorite..

He went life and death with Matthysse, and the rest were either washed up, or it was Khan. He got gifts against Herrera and Peterson. He is a good fighter, with a great chin, decent power, good counter puncher. Flat-footed with horrible footwork, tends to get sloppy during exchanges. Lost both times he stepped up to the top tier welters.
I don't see him doing anything different going forward. He'll cash out of boxing on a couple more paydays against sure-wins or possibly one more loss against Spence or Crawford.

I thought Crawford beat the hell out of Khan and won every round. The low blow was accidental and certainly NOT THROWN IN FRUSTRATION.The punch landed on Khan's leg not his balls. Khan could have easily continued but he quit instead. It is clear from your past posts you don't like Crawford for some unknown reason. All he does is win and dominate and he totally dominated Khan from round one until Khan quit to keep from being KOed.
Great post..
Plus...Danny was losing every round to Khan until he landed the punch. Good for him, but should be viewed in the same light as Wilder vs Old Man Ducker.
Danny was also dominated by Thurman, and only competitive vs Porter. It's not like Thurman and Porter are world beaters...just good fighters.
Completely disagree with Garcia losing every Rd to Khan..The 2end Rd was extremely close and he clearly won the third Rd..
Obviously Danny has fought (& clearly or dominantly beaten) some really good boxers. We wouldn't be talking about him otherwise.
That said the things the other poster mentioned can also be relevant to maybe why Danny is less respected by many.
As to the specifics the consensus here & most forums was Herrera got screwed.
If you look at:
https://eyeonthering.com/boxing/danny-garcia-vs-mauricio-herrera
You'll notice of the 17 guys who recorded their rbr scoring the lean on the outcome was 10-2-5 Herrera.
And again with the Salka thing opponent selection doesn't often become a punchline for jokes & memes so saying the Salka fight was just a stay busy type opponent doesn't really hold true. Salka was still FAR beneath a caliber of guy Danny should of been fighting even for a stay busy fight. Let's not act like this is unfair treatment when even legendary fighters like Mike Tyson (via Peter McNeely after his release among others) & JCC (via his stay busy Tijuana Taxi driver opponents) have had punchline opponents when they fought guys far beneath them. And plenty others have gotten sh^t for fighting guys far beneath their level.
I don't care how anyone else judges a fight, only how I see it..I did not see a robbery..I did however see a better fight then most was predicting we were going to see(mainly cause many people did not even know who Herrera was,not saying you)..
As for Salka, all I'm saying is everyone takes gummies fights..I can name a bunch in the same time period as Dannys..Khan fought McCloskey after he beat Maidana..Bradley fought Casamayor (who was finished at the time), Mayweather fought Ortiz(who had no business in the same ring with him at the time)..Etc Etc Etc list goes on and on..Only if you do not understand the history of this sport can you hold this fight against Danny..Again every fighter does this and to and extent it's understandable as long as this is not common practice..

If Danny beats Spence ( not unlikely ), there is no point Spence fights Crawford, ever.
I mean, even pre-accidental Spence had very tough time with Porter. I feel like Danny, Porter, Thurman, Spence are the same level.
Let's not forget the most important fact:
Danny Swift (slow) took 4 rounds to spark the chin of a prime Khan (fast).
After failing to spark the chin, Crawford took almost 10 rounds against a nearly-killed-by-Canelo version of Khan before sparking his balls in frustration.
That alone should be evidence that NSB tends to be hypocrites about fighters.I thought Crawford beat the hell out of Khan and won every round. The low blow was accidental and certainly NOT THROWN IN FRUSTRATION.The punch landed on Khan's leg not his balls. Khan could have easily continued but he quit instead.
