No they don't lie about their height. Why would they care how people bet? People judge how dangerous a boxer is by his performances in the ring and not how tall he is.
Yeah. I'm fairly sure Fury isn't 6'9
He's not.

Magic's about 6'8" at most and that Mets player is listed at 6'6".
Boxers lie about everything, They lie about their height, their weight, the amount of roadwork they do and they especially lie to their wives and girlfriends about where they are and what they're doing. :lol1:
David Haye would make himself appear smaller 'During press conferences, and weigh in's'.
I.E he would wear certain type of trainers 'That would appear to be normal trainers, but they were not'.
Most probably, measurements of athletes are generally incorrect. I’m sure Kevin Durant still listed at 6 ft 9 when he’s clearly now grown to 7 ft tall.
Lots of fighters do, when have you ever seen a man round down his p_nis size for instance? Even Tyson Fury rounds up his height, he used to be listed as 6'8 and three quarters and even then that might be on the generous side.
Quick edit: Did you know by the end of the day, you can be like 1 inch shorter in height from when you got up in the morning? Something to do with the weight on your joints/knees for example being compacted.
