Why can't a professional boxer who is the one doing the actual fighting fight in any damn weight class he wants to fight in? Why does he has to get your approval first so you will give him a pass? All of these fine champions will fight at the weight they are comfortable at pass or no pass. You don't have to watch these mean old weight bullies but I bet you will. Canelo, he uses a-side status to dictate special weight stipulations to opponents. That’s a lot worse than just dehydrating for a weigh-in.

There is no such thing. It's a stupid term made up by cuck casuals. You'll never hear it in a proper gym. Casuals and non athletes don't really understand weight management and the impact of weighing less or more than your opponent is way overblown on here. The average person fluctuates 1-2 lbs every other day and cats here act like it's the difference between winning or losing.

Nobody. No such thing as a weight bully. A term made up by sore losers if their favorite fight lost a fight. The two boxers and their teams agree on a weight they will fight at. If a boxer makes the weight both fighters agreed to then he has bullied Let's say Spence who is often called a weight bully defends his welterweight title and weighs in at 147 or less. he has followed all the rules and bullied nobody. If Spence was really too big for 147 he would only hurt himself by being weight drained. but since he is strong as a bull and KOs most opponents he clearly is not weight drained. Those who say Spence should fight at 154 are not paying attention to fight night weights. Big Jr middleweights like Jermell and Lara weight 8 to 10 pounds more than Spence on fight night. I repeat if a champion makes the class limit he is not a weight bully. if his opponent is too small then he should be fighting in a lighter weight class. You NEVER heard the term weight bully in the days when boxers weighed in on the morning of the fight. Blame a stupid rule change but don't blame the boxers who follow the rules because they have done nothing wrong.

What is a weight bully? A fighter that's too big for his weight class and barely makes weight and/or a fighter that is smaller that routinely fights at catch weights or with weight re-hydration clauses in his contract. You make a very good point, Tony.
