How would he do on PPV numbers?
Boxing aside... Naz was a showman.
Love him or hate him... He drew the crowds.
Assuming that he maintained his super human confidence and boxing prowess, there is no reason to doubt he wouldn't be on the same money as Mayweather... Probably more, as Naseem was an entertainer, Floyd isn't.
Depends on how soon he runs into a fighter like Barrera.
Yea but once he runs into a top fighter, his career is ruined. Like it was when he ran into Barrera.
You mean an ATG in his prime...because there are a lot of those around?
He’s small and he never fought anyone who he was supposed to have a 50-50 fight with. He was always favored.
Barrera was supposed to be made for him but he kicked Hamed’s ass into retirement instead.
So I’m going with not very much.
Spoken like a true hater. Naz was worth 100 million dollars before age 30. But still "I'm going with not very much". You clown lmao
I dont get why people try to compare Naseem Hamed with guys like Paulie Malignaggi and Adrien Broner. Thats disrespect to the Prince.
He was streets ahead in terms of everything..
He messed himself up
An absolute fortune..
I don't tend to dwell on past fighters much but he's always a fighter I used to try get to go watch live. He never disappointed.. he was pretty local to me hes and his lifestyle changed drastically, trying to get into Yemen politics etc because of his fame.. he strode round the streets like he owned the joint.. until driving like a f.kin idiot and ruining people's lives...
There's few fighters I wondered what advice they'd now give to former self.. I'd be confident in saying he'd looked after himself and dedicated more before his first loss... I think he would still have retired early but undefeated...

If Naseem Hamed was fighting these days, he would be making 30-50 million in purses compared to the 15-18 million he made back in the days. He was the first lil man who was making big $$$$ back when heavyweights dominated
I think he would have a big fat contract with DAZN. Love him or hate him he sold tickets.
