According to 10-Point Must System "While uncommon, if a fighter completely dominates a round but doesn’t score a knockdown, a judge can still score that round 10-8."
In round 9 Jeff horn almost dead that round pac was dominating
So you gave it 7-5 to horn with a 10-8 round to Manny in the 9th.
What 7 rounds did you give him?
I just rewatched about a month ago.
Had Pac winning 115-113. Horn won most of the early/mid rounds, Pac really stepped on the gas during mid-late rounds.
I thought Pac won a close but clear fight, but can't really call it a robbery since Pac seemed to not take the early rounds seriously, while Horn fought to win even in the rounds that he lost.
cool, but 114-113 with no knockdowns huh

Horn was very active and pressed manny to the ropes many times in the fight
When it a close fight that hard to score both guys landing clean aggression is deciding factor
A draw or 7-5 for either is right
TY for sharing Boxing knowledge with unbiased opinion :boxing:
You are one of the most based guy in this site :boxing:
Maybe you are a close friend of Horn. That would help explain your strange score card.
No? I'm not even Aussie Not floyd's fanboy neither
I'm trying to understand how professional judge scoring this fight
Horn taking more shots doesn't mean Manny ain't five other levels he was hiding back, he visibly toying, in dummy goku mode lol... Manny is still two three levels of the best welters currently...
And yes Horn was taking the fight to Manny, landed as much clean sharp shots, froze Manny with a couple of sharp shivs in the midst of that wild shyt, all because Manny chose to play around like a idiot....7-5, 7-6 horn fight watched that fight 4-5 times no need to rewatch Manny has far out that past him, that playing contrary to past it, it's okay to let horn go in Manny fans head....
no he did not land as cleanly and you have watched it 4-5 times? did you watch it on a potato?

2 or 3 levels above the best WWs, lol its rubbish like this that kills youre entire point. you dont split win over a broken Thurman and be 2 or 3 levels higher, right now Manny is on the edge where he can be put on ice by any of the best WWs thats the reason he chose broken Keith over Spence, it will be interesting who he fights next Im betting it wont be Spence TC or Porter Im betting it will be a Garcia, Mikey is a JWW at most and Danny is on a slide.
I thought Manny squeaked in the win over Horn, the 117 judge should be shot it was a close fight that could have been called either way, similar rough house as KT vs Hatton and Floyd vs Maidana .
Who actually won in your opinion ?

Me : Jeff horn 114-113Maybe you are a close friend of Horn. That would help explain your strange score card.
I thought Pac won by a mile and won at least 10 of the 12 rounds plus the ref allowed Horn to fight extremely dirty breaking all the rules without even a warning. That would have been OK if it was a UFC fight but it was boxing. Pac fought clean and horn fought dirty Horn would have lost anywhere else in the world. When Horn fought Crawford and had to obey the rules he did not do well at all. The computbox count may not be perfect put they just count punches thrown and landed by each boxer and don't play favorites. They had Pac landing 123 punches and horn landing 61 punches so it should be obvious Pac deserved to win that fight.
Well... I respect marquez but he can be wrong like he gave ggg won over canelo
Pac gave up some rounds and I give horn for being aggressor

but horn took more shots. manny was winning rounds by round 2 so i dont agree with these generalizations. you make it sound like horn was up 5-1 4-2 or something at the halfway point so manny had to rally back for a win. i had it 4-2 pac as did most if you check the round by rounds.

The ref had nothing to do with that one, Manny fought the first half of the fight toying, and taking shots egging horn on idiotic things he ain't do in like ten years...he tried to turn on the switch midfight that doesn't work all the time especially getting ragdolled...props to Horn and his weird elite heart trait...

it really didnt seem that close. besides 1 and 6 i cant find any other clear horn rounds. most of the other rounds pac landed the far better punches. couple close ones but yeah horn wasnt landing very cleanly and pac was. not that hard to score for me. no real big decisions to weigh between whose punches i liked better
