It's understandable that if Tank is Floyd's fighter, he'd be pissed if Floyd teaches a potential rival how to beat him.
This .
He shouldnt be showing Haney anything if he is training Davis, just an unwritten code of honor thing and an obvious conflict of interest.
The one thing a fighter holds very high is that his trainer is loyal to him, when times were tough its this that holds things together. Floyd would be truer if he cut ties with Davis and started training Haney.
Respect your own team Floyd and they will respect you.
To see the benefit of the doubt It could have all been a publicity thing and they were just in the gym at the time the cameras started rolling.
Tank been disrespecting Floyd for years....Floyd should cut him loose
I tend to agree with this. their relationship seems to be shaky, but probably Floyd let it go because tank has such value and probably will be on PPV.
I will say though that I like Mayweather as a trainer in terms of giving to that aspect to the next generation of fighters, and in this case it seems like Haney is more attentive.

So cut loose with a guy that just did a 2M gate against a washed up fighter? Cut ties with THAT guy? Tank has disrespected Floyd over the last two years but the opposite holds true as well. Tank and Haney have gone back and forth and that's a potential fight and Tank's promoter is training the other fighter....Of course he is going to be a little salty. But the Haney's have a good relationship with the Mayweather's and have trained there plenty over the years. Tank isn't going to see it that way though.
Exactly, what are these clowns in here talking about. It's like no matter the topic, these fools want to say the opposite.
Tank has every right to be angry.
Angry at what? Tank is supposedly fighting Santa Cruz next and he’s no where near a gym. If he don’t like it he can kick rocks. Tanks a talented fighter but he’s a punk. He’s not trying to be great, he’s already satisfied with his accomplishments. If I was Floyd I’d shelf this punk for the duration of his contract. But I’m a vindictive little prick though.
I think Floyd sees more of himself in Devin than any of the other guys. Devin doesn't seem to have a discipline problem and also seems to actively listen when Floyd is talking boxing.
The other guys want all the spoils of Money Mayweather without doing the work of Pretty Boy Floyd.
You could be right, I bet Floyd has actually tried to work with Tank and show him some stuff. But Tank doesn't seem like the type to stay disciplined, just look at his weight issues.
Still, this is a weird thing for Floyd to do as a promoter. How are you going to work with a rival to the fighter who is the only one worth a damn in your stable (along with Badou Jack?)

What is disrespecting Floyd? Not following his every order, like he wants every one his life to do.

They buy into the Money May gimmick too much. I feel like there’s Mayweather the character who pretends to live this party lifestyle then you have the real Mayweather who was never out of the gym, always remaining dedicated.
Haney’s dad seems the type to keep you grounded, Devin has long road ahead of him though. It’s hard to remain dedicated when your “sleeping in silk pyjamas” as Hagler said...
If this was Oscar De La Hoya training Haney and Ryan Garcia got mad I bet y'all would understand

“I been doing well by my lonely” did he actually tweet that?:lol1:
Really don’t see the issue of Floyd giving Haney a few pointers...
