He was a bit past prime, and add to fact nel o was improving every fight bit by bit, plus many don't think nelo even won. So the win is tarnished ever so slightly. Some think nel o only beat a hypejob anyway. Unbeaten records don't mean Everyone puts you on pedestal look at floyd. But everyone ducked ggg, whilst Floyd did most the ducking, sabotaging himself. Let's face it, everyone wanted Floyd payday
Similar to Floyd s win over pac is even more tarnished. Pac was past prime, IV gate and not even rematch.
Pretty well said

Yeah probably a little bit. GGG still has some fight in him for sure. In fact I think the chances that he could defeat Canelo in the third fight are actually fairly decent. GGG isn't washed up yet but he ain't no spring chicken either
Name all the fighters that Canelo fought, and clearly won, who were not one or more of the following
1) Over the age of 35
2) From a lower weight class
3) Not coming off a 14+ month layoff.
I'll wait.
None
That GGG resume, doe :lol1:
Had it not been for the Jacobs/Nelo segment, GGG could have fought like a 21 y/o for the next 50 yrs
Yep, taking a piss :lol1:

Geale
Felix Sturm in Germany.
Sebastian Sylvester in Germany.
Mundine
Nikola Sjekloca
Has been in with some real big names. And lasted the full 36 minutes.
Eduard Gutknecht
Title contender.
Korobov.
Probably Charlo's best win. And that's a fight many feel he lost.
Yep, taking a piss :lol1:
Yes, similar to Pac was past prime when Floyd beat pac ruining Floyd s legacy. And it was controversial with the iv and bad shoulder and no rematch?
Floyd must be the only highly rated fighter in history with no rematches against biggest name wins on c v in fact.
Pac no rematch. Nel o no rematch. D lh no rematch
This thread isnt about Manny or Pac..damn man wow
Questionable.....
I wasn't able to find his FULL list of head gear opponents

Except for those mentioned here (not quite 300+)....

(is this where you got your info or are you really that deep into GGG's career, making you a quasi boxing expert ?!?!?!)
You caught me not doing my due diligence in my claim (not at all a GGG fan).
Let's look at the names you brought to my attention -
Geale - Fringe at best
Nikola Sjekloca - ?????
Eduard Gutknecht (see above)
Matvey Korobov (are you taking ''a piss'' ????)
Andy Lee - meh
Lucian Bute - Vastly overrated but known
While you may have discovered a SCANT FEW names, I must ask you to point out their best pro wins
If this is the best he could do with those 300+ fights, he was a dumb ass and those names weren't worth mentioning

Did you notice how zero % of those 300+ killers he faced amounted to nothing ?!?!?!?
To be a cult member must be stooge like :stooges:

May is older than Pac
The only rematch worth noting for Pac is JMM. The same JMM that May toyed with.
yuh those 300 + amateur fights certainly took their toll too...but only from the moment the judges announced the Canelo-GGG score.. strange time indeed for the toll to instantly manifest.

The GGG camp will break out those all important 300+ head gear fights to compensate

You people that think GGG wasn’t on the wrong end of bad decisions in BOTH fights are probably the same ones that thought Wilder won Fury 1, was ahead on the scorecards in Ortiz 2 and De La Hoya beat Mayweather. :lol1:
the question is in reverse, GGG only stepped up to world title level when he turned 34 or 35.
Its an attempt to deflect from why he did that.
Canelo has fought an ATG when he was early 20s, theres no question mark over when he stepped up.

Canelo has fought an ATG when he was early 20s, theres no question mark over when he stepped up. The question has likely been reversed because he beat GGG.
So in your optics, amateur fights do not count?
3 rounds?
Jesus. Do you even know boxing?
Oh wait, of course you don't. That much is obvious.

:hail: head gear ''fights'' :fing02:
