Deontae Wilder needs a therapist probably
I could see that going both ways. Either freaking out that he cant get in the ring and redeem himself or kinda glad he gets some time to reconfigure after a bad loss
Srisaket Sor Rungvisai.
Most commentators will have forgotten how to spell his name when this shìt is over.
To be fair I’m pretty sure a lot of us couldn’t right now without googling it.
hard for me to feel bad for usyk and beterbiev really...i know its pretty customary for the euro guys to turn pro late....but what theyre reaching now is something they could have been at around age 27/28......waiting to start your career out at 26-28 doesnt make me feel bad for anyone and any unfortunate circumstances
that being said most of the euros step their comp up quickly in the pro ranks relative to their age...they def try to make up for lost time....but its still lost time
Yeah beterbiev is right on the cusp of a breakout year.
His career has been stop start since 2015.
He’s finally in a good position as a unified champion with promotional backing and then this CV19 sh** happens.
Literally the exact two I had in mind.
Usyk has been so inactive since icing Bellew.
And then obviously Pac is battling father time now.
Beterbiev is maybe another guy, he’s what 35 now? And he’s finally in a position to get those big fights.

I saw Usyk or Pacman

Earl Spence Jr....he can't train or spar which means his recovery will be delayed. He can't really go straight back.into a mega fight...so pushing back his tune ups will keep him out of the top tier til at least 2022.
Jeep Horn....he is missing out on the Tim Tszyu millions and the chance to get that Manny rematch.
Spence isnt even allowed to spar, he had all his teeth replaced and he was talking about it the other day, he is not yet cleared to spar, he has posts in his mouth and more procedures.
Wilder. Being cooped up in Quarantine after losing your championship to a crackhead gypsy seems destructive to the mind. Its obvious from his recent public appearances..
I think GGG . He seems to be declining psychically and it will be interesting to see what the deve war took from him. If this lay off goes for a year that may be the difference between the tail end of lil G's prime and shot lil G
Usyk I think, pure boxers would be more “Screwed” or boxers who depends a lot on their reflexes.
I think the time off could help usyk it gives him time to bulk up a bit if that's what they are going for . I think anything between 210 -220 is perfect for him so u are prolly right
Teofimo Lopez. Last year he was saying that late 2019 was the latest he would fight Lomachenko due to his struggles to make the weight. After the Commey fight the money was so big he decided he would stick around and fight Loma early 2020. With this virus being around it is unlikely we will get this fight until late 2020. Lopez recently said he is weighing just north of 160 which is very worrying considering we are still months away from any boxing. I think he either misses out on a massive legacy defining fight or drains himself to make weight and gets beaten to a pulp with Loma's volume and vicious body shots.
Financially speaking, the bums, the B-sides, fighters that make
showcase fighters look good. Their families are probably suffering by now.
Agreed - the less known/unknown fighters who need fights to pay their bills. They're suffering real hardship suffering.
But in the bigger names - I think about Teo Lopez. Think he's been trying to hold down his weight for that fight with Loma. The layoff can't be helping that.
And Loma for that matter. Maybe the time off is good for his body to heal up, but he's been starting to show signs of age now.
