Brook before the leg stabbing was on his way to becoming the greatest Welterweight of our generation.
Shame his career got ruined by freak accidents and injuries.
The schooling he gave Shawn Porter in his own backyard is one that true boxing fans will never forget.
Dynamite in both hands, great defense and timing, the whole package.....
Khan had better career, has better wins and was more successful making money while being terribly stopped by elite opponents.
True. Not too many fighters better than the Con Man at self promotion and staying relevant while going 8-4.
Wow you have a filthy gay mind kid. This is a boxing forum.
You wanna talk about gay activities, there are other threads for that.
Gay boy.
Yea. Or better yet tell him to go to an MMA forum. :grr:
He apparently got stabbed for making ****sexual advances to a drug dealer in Tenerife. I think you would have stabbed him in a different way. :luvbed:

He wasted 2013-2019 chasing his halo fight with Khan.
Khan ALWAYS had other options and was never desperate for that big domestic because he had already made enough coin since turning professional.
Mark my words, the Brook fight for Khan is a LAST RESORT when all other options have been exhausted.
Brook should have gotten the message years ago and moved on. As soon as he struggled making 147lbs in a healthy manner (and without the Ingle juice) he should have gone upto 154lbs. Why did he spend so long chasing a 135/140lb fighter in Khan (before Khan even stepped upto Welterweight)?
Great talent and natural ring IQ but he had poor management and career guidance around him. The working class people of that area of Sheffield are pretty dumb to be honest, I've been visiting since the early 1990s to know what they are like.
Hopefully he sends his kids to a good school and they can overcome their natural stupidity inherited from Kell.
Still has time. I think Brook still has a lot left in the tank. He was 4-4 vs Spence after 8 rounds, beat Porter, has always looked worse against weaker opposition. I really think him vs Crawford would be a great fight. Brook is much more skilled than Khan and Khan can't take any kind of shot now, so would be a much better fight than Crawford vs Khan was.
And there was definitely some suspect ***** with him going to that dudes house and getting stabbed. Some REAL suspect *****
Not really. Not unless you consider drugs and/or gay sex to be particularly suspect.:lol1:
I always felt he was compromised a bit by the weight. If 150lbs was a weight limit he would have been very difficult to beat. The two Carson Jones fights are an example of this.
As far as 147lbs - yeah things kept happening and the small windows when he was active and firing...all the other top ww's avoided the fight.
People forget that most of the other champions were offered the fight. D Garcia was offered $5 million, Thurman, Bradley, Vargas....they all waited Brook out. He was avoided.
Vargas signed to fight Brook. Brook opted out of it to fight Golovkin.
Brook has had a good career, but it could have been a great career, if he'd made better choices and had better luck, both inside and outside the ring.
There really was something special about him that he never expressed and exploited to the max..
Brook had a sht career to be honest. Just miind-bogglingly bad management.
Thurman, Brook and Spence have the same best win: Porter.
Spence barely beat Porter.
Brook`s obsession with Khan ruined his career. If I remember well, he could have fought Clottey and Cotto, but refused.

‘Freak injuries’ by getting punched in the face.
Damn! :lol1: He has ONE credible win in his 40+ fight career. And he arguably lost that fight, the UK commentators actually scored that fight to Porter. So do the math... ‘Schooling’ :lol1:
