If Judge Roth scored this round 12 for Oscar, the fight would have been a draw.
Only Roth had it for Floyd while the other two judges score this round to ODLH

Floyd was extra cautious against Oscar and manny due to what was on the line for him.
He opted for the most secure route to victory and often played it too safe during both fights
He performed well against Oscar though, clearly won.
He played it wayyy too safe against Manny. It was a horrible performance by Floyd. One of his worst. I wouldn’t even call that a win, or if so then just by default.
Very close round.
But I gave it to Oscar De La Hoya at that time 'I watched that fight again, and wrote down my scores the day after the fight'.
Note: It is the only fight I have really wrote down my scores for etc I usually just watch most fights without writing down my scores 'I have not voted'.
When Floyd gets to work after the 1st 30 seconds Oscar is following Floyd around with a mixture of frustration and confusion
Round was largely Floyd’s fight. Floyd elected to brawl in final 10 seconds because he had fight in the bag
He also exchanged final 10 seconds because he knew oscar always threw arm punch flurries once he heard that bell and wasnt going to allow Oscar to steel the round. Decided to take extra risk of getting tagged because it was final round.
Floyd won but nothing is special about the 12th, it counts the same as every other round. For OP to have a valid point, you would have to fully agree with all 3 judges scoring of the first 11 rounds. Thats 33 different scores, do you agree with them all? If not then who cares how the 12th was scored.
Floyd landed the cleaner shots throughout the fight. Oscar threw arm punch flurries on the ropes and at the 10 seconds remaining bell every round that didnt connect worth chit. That cant fool me.
Oscar was no longer a hungry fighter he blew the last 3 of 4 rounds that cost him the fight. I watch a interview of Edwin Valero when he was in camp with him beating up Oscar he stated Oscar doesn't like doing road work he doesn't like to get up early and run. So he predicted Manny Pacquiao to stop him
Man yet another example of a 12th round that is extremely difficult to score for me lol...had Floyd up throughout, but ODLH was in it with some good body punching...if forced to pick, I would shade it to ODLH for his flurry at the end...Floyd's work was a bit cleaner in the round when he did land, and may have even outlanded ODLH in the round...but ODLH landed the better shots and more better shots in my view...tight round.
Oscar was in the fight but faded. It was an 8-4 or 7-5 fight. And DLH controlled ring size, picked Floyds gloves, and it was at 154. The judges were also too favorable of Oscar.
The right man won although prime for prime at WW wouldve been fun

Honestly i had Floyd winning until Oscars clean right at the end. Probably 1 of the cleanest shots ive seen Mayweather get hit. Forgot about that.
