Or do they just not care?
I was just watching Holyfield vs. Qawi from '86 and at first I was watching like, "Holyfield's a beast!".
And then I see Lou Duva & I get sad because I'm wondering if it's Lou knew that Holyfield was dirty all those years & didn't care or if that just wasn't something he thought about.
But it's the same for other trainers.
Do trainers have to know that much about their fighters routines or do they just worry about what they're doing in the ring?

Thing is those oestrogen blockers are considered masking agents and even PEDs in their own right so I guess it doesn't matter if they're taking that or steroids as they're interlinked and banned equally.
Exactly. The anti estrogens, diuretics, masking agents are all supposed to be checked for. So if some boxer is on gear I assume he’s usually on all those drugs also. Or at least taken all these drugs at sum point. They all have different detection cycles. I mean ur testosterone to epitestosterone level usually has to be below a certain ratio or ur suspected of taking peds. Sometimes u have to prove why it’s high to clear ur name. Some fighters have bumped their levels artificially right to the legal limit which was a fairly high ratio. I think that limit has since changed? But yeah if everyone’s on gear than most of them are on anti estrogens also and that’s more drugs to hide. So I don’t know how legit or effective all these drug tests are, because they sure don’t catch a lot of people. It makes sense in a scandal way because the sport/sports could be exposed, and then also without it we might not see the same level. All I know is that the guys who have no experience with the stuff claim to be experts, and promote it more than anyone else.
Wow, this is just . . .wow.
Thanks for the insight, but what is gyno?
“Gyno” is “Gynecomastia” aka “***** tits” Sum guys just get it naturally. testosterone in ur body can be converted to estrogen and give u estrogen related side effects like the build up of female breast tissue around the nipple. Everyone is susceptible to it differently. Taking steroids can cause this, and usually an anti estrogen inhibitor is taken to counter this. I mean Frank Columbo and Ronnie Coleman both won Mr. Olympia’s with prominent Gyno showing. So if roids are so rampant in boxing I’m at least impressed that it’s not really all that obvious side effects wise. The anti estrogens are supposed to be tested for also. So if everyone is on gear they must be on anti estrogens too in my opinion, even more drugs to hide. I honestly don’t know how hokey these drug tests are or not. But I have real practical knowledge and I don’t think gear can make sum stiff a champion. But Someone who is already very proficient , and then takes gear is a hard mountain to tackle.

LOL! Funnier than Chit! We all know Canelo walks around closer to 200 than 168. When you have to make the cut quick and build muscle mass fast, everyone knows clenbuterol is the drug of choice.
We are not stupid!

It's true man, that ****'s in my powerful variant of asthma meds and the **** makes you super jittery and energetic plus your appetite dies. I must say it's a horrible feeling though, it's so relentlessly intense that your head feels tired by it but your body doesn't correspond at all. It's either that or it's nasty brother salbutamol which has the same effects, oh God it tastes awful to inhale it but Jesus do your lungs open up and does your blood oxygen spike. I had to take a corticosteroid with it too when I had pneumonia and almost died before as my asthma made it so much worse. Think it was prednisolone, my Lord that is the most powerfully energising stuff in the worst of ways. No euphoric buzz, just plain agitating energy coursing through your body for hours on end. Can't sleep a wink on it. It's awful.
I agree. First off if a top guy is finding gear himself that’s a huge risk. I mean a top HW making hundreds of millions would be stupid to be a direct buyer. They could easily be recorded or filmed, then blackmailed for tons of money. I mean gear costs peanuts, but getting caught buying gear could cost u millions in suspensions, fines, reputation etc. There’s someone else buying the stuff for these athletes, putting the distance between the transaction. There’s not a lot of people ever coming public to buying gear for or selling gear for, or knowing that an athlete was on gear. Obviously people want to protect their own ass and they may have gotten paid off. Still there’s a lot of people that have had falling outs with teams and there’s still not a lot of people coming forward. Trainers want the pay day. The boxer always has the final call. Sure he can be talked into something by a trainer or tried to be talked out. But it’s not like theres a lot of trainers who have ever said anything about gear. It’s a well hidden commodity in sports for good reason. So many fans claim to know which fighters are on peds than it stands to reason that the trainers would notice too. I know my way around gear and honestly It’s hard for me to say anything for sure. I mean how much gear can u take and not blow through weight classes? Guys get shredded and bust front double biceps on the scale and yet I don’t see a bunch of gyno? Sure they could be on anti estrogens. I’m sure it’s often used, so much money at stake. Plus someone has to help u beat the drug tests. I’m just saying only people who have never taken themselves are the ones who claim to be experts on the stuff.

Depends.
Sometimes they have no idea. As the boxer only drills padwork and technique with head trainer.
