Have AJ and Fury spoke to one another face-to-face since the 'Gloves are off' thing?
We need to see them up in each other's faces talking smack for real
It would've been amazing to see AJ ringside at the Fury-Wilder II fight, but he was busy in Nigeria doing whatever he was doing, I suppose everyone knew they had the rematch clause going, so it might've looked desperate..
Fuk it, get Fury to the Pulev fight, get him sat ringside shouting 'dosser', can someone arrange that pls
It will never happen. A restraining order to competitive threats is SOP in team AJ.
Lol. Wilder ducking and ducking.
Fury wont be too keen either but I think we'll get it.
AJ”s presence would mean nothing because it was always the intention of not fighting him. The truth is Wilder was at AJ vs Klitschko and declined to step in the ring afterward because he would have to commit to a fight this is 2017 . He insisted Tony Bellew should be the warm up fight so the U.K fans would know him. Sorry but that sounds like a guy who never wanted the fight .
These guys just want AJ to sell their fight for them by involving himself when they know they had rematch clauses attached to contracts.
I don't know man, I just thought it was weird optics that AJ was nowhere to be seen or heard the days immediately surrounding the Fury-Wilder rematch, I get what you're saying tho
It's prize fighting and it's always about money. Landlords don't chase peasants around.
Fury can come ringside when Josh takes on Pulev since his fight with Wilder isn't happening (Wilder is going to pull out).
Yeah I wouldn't mind this at all, if Fury gets in the ring and causes a bit of grief post-fight that would be great
(I don't see Pulev causing AJ any major issues, he's really getting on a bit now and doesn't pose any awkward challenges so far as I can tell: not much output, straight up and down, no strange angles... think it should be an AJ KO)
totally
yeah AJ's presence was the only thing missing that fight, that would have topped off the night very well
Facts..... Plus the US needs to feel his presence as much as possible and forget about his last time in the states
Why would the landlord chase peasants around?
He's the cash cow and they should be the one chasing him.
Fury and Wilder made less than $20million each in their last fight with networks taking losses whilst Josh made at least $100million. No point chasing peasants.
It aint about money tho..... .
Peasants need to do the chasing since they spent their 12-yr careers fighting bums and cream puffs until the landlord arrived on the scene.
AJ himself admits that Fury opened up the division and made it exciting again, helped get that buzz going after Klitschko's long and relatively boring reign
True but he his presence would have went along way. Just imagine the crowd reaction of that camera zoom on him b4 the fight. As far as desperation i would get it if it was one of them fighting somebody else, but vs each other had more weight than all of his belts combined imo.

exactly
the only thing i can think is that Fury and Wilder had the rematch option tied down, so Eddie might have thought it looks desperate to have AJ ringside?? Plus, it's like they would prefer that Fury comes to them, rather than the other way round

Money money money money money
Fight like Wilder vs Fury..... Joshua should have been ringside imo

good vid
thanks for the embed
They speak all the time.
Fury facetimes him, lol.
Fury speaks to all these guys.
You can see Fury speak to AJ on his gypsy king documentary which might be on YouTube for the yanks.
I don't think there would be any needle in an AJ/Fury fight. It is a tight circle British heavyweight boxing.
Anybody you want to name they've all spared each other
It's why I'm not having that Joe Joyce is no good. He's knocked lumps out of them all for years
Yeah I've seen that, funny, Fury sending AJ little jibes now and then, I'm just wondering if they have actually been seen together in the same room since that 'Gloves are Off' special. I think Fury has the potential to seriously disrupt AJ's line of thought if they ever get it on and have to do press conferences, etc
Last i remember was 2012 in a video with Bruno Lewis Fury AJ and two others i cant remember were sitting at a round table talking HWs! Good vid
it was 2014.

I would love them to have an official boxing match complete with ring referee etc. I am not the least bit interested in seeing them face to face talking smack and maybe even shoving each other. If they were to actually punch each other and have an all out brawl with nobody breaking them up I would enjoy that but that never happens.
Early in Joshua career (before he won his first title) they did a sky round the table chat with a few others, I think Haye was on it. Was a really good hour of listening. Was really interesting to see how Joshua was just trying to learn from everyone’s opinions.
Yeah it was good that, with Bruno and Lennox there aswell

I think it would go something like this:
FURY: "You're a DOSSER! You're a ROBOT! Stiff legs, stiff arms, like a little tin pot man, NO HEART!"
AJ: "Yeah, yeah, well, we'll see."
FURY: "You're gonna quit again, aren't ya! Like you quit against the fat Mexican"
JOHNNY NELSON: "What do you have to say about that, is he right?"
AJ: "Keep your eyes on the prize. Stay humble. Work hard. That's all it is."
FURY: "You can work hard for a hundred years, my boy, you still won't beat me. What I've got can't be bought, you BIG STIFF IDIOT! Your Twitter followers won't mean nothing once we step inside that ring, I'm telling you now! You're gonna feel the FURY!"
AJ: "I've overcome adversity before, I can do it again."
...ad infinitum...
