Wilder makes out it was when he took costume off? But I think it was way before!
After getting gift against fury, Wilder realised how good fury was and was amazed he landed punch in 12th round.
I think after 2nd ortiz fight he realised he might not find lucky punch against fury again, it took until 8 th round to jail ortiz!
Wilder knows fury wasn't at his best in first fight. At the weigh in for rematch rematch fury looked so imposing and big and confident. A vibe his other opponents didn't give off, fury was literally a king to wilder.
In the ring for rematch Tyson looked so confident whilst Wilder looked worried.
I think the only time wilder thought he could beat fury was before 1 st fight. But his acting his pretty good he played part pretending he was confident leading up to 2nd fight. He has a career in acting after boxing
You are probably right, I never saw this dressing room pacing I only saw match on youtube.
But after taking heavy jabs in 1st round he knew he was in for a hard and long night. Because Wilder likes to give you rounds before koing you. He didn't fancy taking hard jabs to face and body for 8 rounds before koing Fury.
So I think Wilder threw a few hayemakers in hope early on. I think fury took one or two but came back for moreI see. Yeah, I just so happened to purchase the event. In addition, he had to take a very long walk just to get to his dressing room out of fear for safety concerns and his well-being. He had to walk through a kitchen and another room to arrive there safely. That's an enormous amount pressure leading up to a fight. Just the mere thought of someone wanting to harm you before even getting into the ring could also cause alarm and panic.

No, it started back in his dressing room. He was very restless and couldn't sit still. He was pacing the floor back and forth and Andre Ward correctly stated that it was a nervous energy. Also, I believe, Lennox Lewis said if he doesn't slow down he could possibly tire himself out. All I am saying that this was an early sign that he was beginning to doubt himself.

It was in the 1st round when he ate a big jab off that feather fist fury. It was at that point wilder knew he should of learnt to box or be a Cruiser weight.
The eyes don't lie and his eyes said "oh no I'm in trouble here".
I think it was soul destroying for wilder when fury said outside the 2 kd in first fight, Wilder was his easiest fight. That must have been worrying for wilder
Wilder at no point after 1st fight thought he could beat fury., So don't see him thinking he can win 3rd fight.
After the 12 th round in the first fight cause TF came back and rocked him bad . Half fit fighter beat you now your fighting total fit attacking style fighter this time . Just watch him pace in the dressing room he looked like a man waiting for his wife to give birth . Nervous crazy
Fury was told that he had to not beat Wildling in the first bout to ensure the rematch. He took a dive in the 12th round of the first bout because there was no way to even call it a draw because it was so one-sided. Wildling knew from the first bout that he had no shot to beat Fury. He talked a big game and all of that but once he was actually in the ring, he knew what time it was. Had the fight gone 12 rds, they were going to try to rob Fury most likely by deducting multiple points from him during the bout to give another draw or SD for Wildling some degree of credibility.
1 at round he hit Tyson with to great right hands didn’t even shake him . That scared DW to death just like suga hill said after 2nd round to Tyson “ he knows what’s going on “
His family on both his father and mothers side have bare-knuckle fighting legends.
.
I really think wilder is flattered he was able to down fury twice and come so close.
That will be wilder biggest achievement in wilders own mind.
Of course wilder always hoped he could deck fury. Only after fight did he know for sure he could, as he did.
First round he got hit with a heavy jab and he thought “this is different to last time”
Second round he landed the right hand a bit but Fury rode it. Right at the end of the round, he threw a shot, Fury went under it , and went right after wilder. Watch Wilder’s face on the way back to the corner a few seconds later. He understood he wasn’t in with a half fit Fury anymore. Nobody had ever gone right at him like that.
The only acting I saw from wilder was that 3rd round joke of a knockdown.......since when is a punch to the trapisoid legal.. Or the back of the head for that matter.. I saw a lot of wwe in that fight. No less than 12 headlocks by fury. At best. Rest assured wilder won't be diving off the high board next time
Absolutely, them eyes where 'oh f.uckin hell' eyes.
I think with the extra weight, that extra pop to furys shots took him aback, mentally and physically.
But then he must of been thinking 'I have this killer power, and this behemoth has the nerve to just come at me regardless, damn he's still fast'.
That's the picture I paint in my mind anyway.
Shock and awe.
After the second round Wilder had threw 3 right hands, 2 connected and did not deter Fury, the other missed at the end of round 2 and then Fury put it on him instantly, they ended the second with Wilder in the corner and Fury leaning on him after landing a few soft blows....... Fury stared at him when they got broke up and Wilder went back to his corner genuinely scared.
When he came out for the third he had fear in his eyes, genuine "oh ****" fear........ his eyes were were wide open like he was in danger.
Animals and humans only display that when there is a predator around.
I think wilder always felt fury was favourite. Wilder hoped he might find ko punch at some point but he knew fury was going to box hisv ears off in time being. And with new kronk power he wasn't looking forward to it, none of this "i can't wait " nonsense!
Wilder was always scared of fury confidence and self belief. And he knew Tyson wasn't acting. He was fighting fury ancestors. Wilder s recent ancestors are more like basketball or nfl players. Whilst fury are bare knuckle fighters
His family on both his father and mothers side have bare-knuckle fighting legends.
The Fury's are no joke..... just listen to his dad for 2 seconds and you understand...... his dad was doing pads with him when he was 5 years old.
Most children don't even get to practice fighting.

I think his ego dictates he was very confident going into the rematch, after the 3rd round, maybe 2nd he knew he was f.ucked.
He genuinely believed Fury was bs'ing when he said he'd knock Wilder out.
And after 5-10 mins worth of Fury laying it on heavy, he did have a 'oh s.hit' look to his eyes.
After the 5th I think a part of him had left the building. But he had a good idea it wasn't looking/feeling good after 2, certainly 3 rounds.
I just watched the highlights on BT sport, the No filter from the fight.
Deontay be looking like....

...after the 3 rd round
:rofl::rofl::rofl:
Wilder was definitely worried when fury was saying he was going to ko him. He tried dissuading fury by saying it will be easy night for him if tried it.
Only wildebeest knows if really felt he could win rematch against fury. But true, I think soon after a few jabs to face and body in 1 st round he knew it wasn't going to be his night. Nothing to do with costume.
But he has a career in rocky films afterwards. Wilder decent actor, "i can't wait"
