Says the 850,000 reported doesn't include digital purchases. During an interview with World Boxing News. I tried to post a link but its banned unfortunately.
As usual with American PPV. S the people who would know are not confirming they are putting out rumours. So take the number they say and half it. If it was real they would just say it is Fact rather than being vague.
It's simple. If it's the number they want then they confirm it. If it's not the number they want they throw out rumours but refuse to confirm it.
Not saying Bob would tell an untruth, but the timing and the fact it's suspiciously just over his own stated break even point does give food for thought.
Probably at 168? They said it would surprise everyone and is dangerous... CanCharlo.
No one wants to see Saunders or Smith. Charlo fans travel
Charlo would get exposed so badly. It's weird, but there aren't really any big MW or SMW that I would want to see against Canelo right now. That DAZN deal has really killed his appeal IMO.
You ever remarry? Your late wife where was she from???
No, I don't... I lived with her for more than 30 years and I loved her too much...

You know Canelo though??? After that Fury/Wilder fight he needs the attention like a spoiled kid... CanCharlo
... Canelo doesn't fight on PPV anymore... as long as he fights on more or less fix wages I don't know if he feels a significant pressure...
Or, Tyistall may point out that Arum lies in just about every statement me makes publicly hahah and you would have to be a short bus rider to quote someone like him. Or a Wilder fan who is still reeling from eat thing their idol get smashed by someone with "feather fists" hahahaa. And seriously man, how can take you seriously when you have a midget as your avatar?
Well we agree Bob is probably lying. I just know you 3 would piss your pants if it was verified this fight sold 1.2 mil PPV's.
If it was tracking over a million Arum would have been yelling it out on Monday.
Taking a few days meant they were hoping it would be higher but came in under expectations.

I'm surprised Floyd didn't tweet about rematching Pacquao the night before the PPV like he always does.
Maybe he did? I don't follow him :lol1:
Who you think canelo is going to fight next??? Smith or Saunders should of been easy to make by now??
I got a gut feeling it's going to be someone else like Charlo or maybe Bivol???
I can't see Bivol happening. From what I've read, him and Beterbiev have basically confirmed they will fight each other once Beterbiev gets rid of his mandatory.
You think Canelo can still make 160?
Yeah i never get this. Who cares? We got to see the fight, that’s all that matters. The money doesn’t go into my account, in fact, it left my account.
Half the people on this ****ing site think that they're promoters, and the other half think they're managers.
I think maybe six of us are actual boxing fans.

Canelo is doing business with Hearn... Now Hearn has to wait and see who Canelo want to fight with...
Egypt???? I love HISTORY? And I'm a geek about it. Good advice. They have any trains?? How did you travel?
Egypt is a militarized country -- they only permit convoys of tourist buses...
Yeah i never get this. Who cares? We got to see the fight, that’s all that matters. The money doesn’t go into my account, in fact, it left my account.
It is important, though... because otherwise they wouldn't make the fights we want (which are already a few, anyway)...
Any particular order?? I just hope Italy isn't like Jersey shore??? Obnoxious Italians annoy the FUK out of me! All act like tough guys or gigolos.
I started with Egypt, tbh... My advice: start with Greece, then Italy, etc... (but both Greece and Italy require more than one visit...)
Who cares! It was an AWESOME fight!!!

With the amount of promotion they did which was so focused on their digital platforms I wouldn't be at all surprised if the final numbers were significantly higher than the initial estimates. The tea leaf readers trying to predict the amount of buys probably compared ESPN+ subscriber base and DirecTV subscriber base and assumed a similar ratio of subscribers to PPV buys.
Well that is good, I guess that 750K-850K was just standard PPV Buys Projection and did not include the Digital Buys through ESPN+ and FOX Sports app maybe :dunno:
As a Boxing Fan I HOPE it did 1.2 Million!
I'm interested in the UK PPV as well....... we need a total for the two.... then the total value of all international rights.
Once that is added up, I think it could be the biggest event for many years.
