Boxing took a big L today. This was starting off as a fire fight unlike the 1st which was a snoozer for the most part, we were going to see fireworks and then a ****ing busted eardrum happened. I'm not even sure what punch caused it, that knockdown by Fury didn't look like it hit Wilder's ear, it's usually caused by the glove hitting the ear opening just right (even by a light punch), creating pressure and rupturing the eardrum, throws off your equilibrium.
I'm not sure who would've won, but it would've been better than seeing Wilder stumbling around the ring. I wanted to see it end with then exchanging blows not this 1 sided ****. Feels like a huge loss for boxing.
I didn't disappear, Mr. Toilet Bowl Plunger.
Have made several threads about the fight in fact.
You did disappear from the Pick 'Em contest, though. After only a month. :lol1: well when you miss 5 fights because of work and commitments and you see your already 150 points down you realise it’s already to late to catch up , How you feeling now wilders been fully exposed like a novice ? Tears in your cornflakes son ?
Boxing absolutely did not take an L today, tons of people I know who have never said a word about boxing were talking about this fight in the build up today and I promise you it will be talked about non stop tomorrow. Boxing is always on life support, but every now and then it gets a jolt and rises from the table like Frankenstein, today was one of those nights
Boxing got a huge W today and one it badly badly needed. That was a real ****ing fight.
Well said both of you. Last night was a W for boxing. No other way to slice it.

Its called fighting loser . The loser like you got beat up , stop the bittcching you are doing .
If that's what you saw, I'm not going to debate it. I'll just lay here in a fetal position and :crying: myself to sleep.

15.47 the punch when ref was breaking them.
17.37 2 punches to back of the head
18.44 after the bell hit on back of head
20.04 after another break he hit him again of back of head and Bayliss gives him the look of doom
etc etc
That stuff happens in every fight. Just the ones that cause knockdowns are the ones that are super analysed :)
Robbie is a like a pack of hyenas waiting to feast on the wounded flesh of the wilderettes
...he’s baying for blood lol.
They’ve all disappeared lol.....shoulderroll , Mr Dunn the cuck , Deontay wilder , TMT and lastly the captain of the wilderettes is 1hour run ..where are they Robbie lol

I was more concerned with the punches behind Wilders head and Fury constantly leaning on him, pushing him down.
It's called fighting but there are rules.
That said, the better man won.
:crying:
Wilder actually hit Fury behind the head more times in an illegal way. At end of round 4 he got him after the bell behind the head. And i think it was round 2 they were told to break, Fury let go and soon as he did he got hit on the back of the head. Those should have been warnings.
The punch Fury got Wilder with was actually Wilder's fault. He moved to his left and tried to duck. Before he went for that duck the punch was already on the way.
If you look at it closely it actually clips his shoulder first.
The other thing is the holding you mention. If you look at it Wilder was actually the one instigating it. Especially at the round 3 mark. That was obviously because he was hurt and just trying to survive. Fury wanted to end it was trying to get out of the clinch. I think the commentators even mentioned it when he got that point deducted.
So no it wasn't a foul punch. If Wilder had kept his head straight like you are taught rather than turn it the punch wouldn't have landed there. Likewise if it didn't clip his shoulder first and took some of the power out it would probably have been over there and then tbh.
Fury was awesome and would beat any HW in history. Multi skilled. Front foot, back foot, balls of steel. Unreal. Give credit where it's due for once people. For the record, I'd still take Wilder to beat Joshua. He'd be able to land on Joshua clean much easier than Fury, and Joshua can't take Ruiz level power, never mind Wilder's power. Tyson Fury is P4P #1 undisputed
A lot of salt in this thread. Wilder got his ass beat that’s all their is to it. He showed a lot of heart but was convincingly beaten.
In hindsight it’s unsurprising. A 50% fury gave wilder hell in 2018 and beat him imo so it’s not terribly surprising fury at the top of his game beat and stopped him.

Blue - Nah.
Wilder's trainer said small cut in the ear at 10:25
is there proof yet that wilder had a busted eardrum? and wilder is lucky the punch landed where it did cause if it hit him on the chin he gets counted out. wilder NEVER had balance and looked drunk when he went for a KO with multiple punches stumbling around falling

hypocrisy right here. I take it you wanted Fury to lose so you're upset. The better man won. Period. I have a hard time believing you're so forgiving to fighters you dislike that have complained of an injury in fight camp like Pacquiao, and even less so to fighters that get injured DURING the fight. Wilder takes pleasure in knocking guys out cold and even says ridiculous things about body bagging fighters and now that he's on the other end, we're supposed to feel like this is an L, because it MIGHT BE a ruptured eardrum? IF it is, then it was caused by a punch.

Cut in the ears. Not busted ear drum.
