Education is not seen here , you sound like a guy bottled up and not living in the real world I have a degree in finance you sound like a guy working at a gas station ,no offenses.
Clearly that degree in finance didn’t translate over to grammar or common sense. How many PPV buys did Joshua-Klitschko do? Haha
I disagree Wlad was motivated and passing a torch down to then undefeated AJ .
Being undefeated really doesn’t matter in terms of Wlads accomplishments compared to a very carefully managed Wilder,if you think otherwise we’ll continue here.
If you’re going into a fight expecting a “torch to get passed down” then you’re not expecting a competitive fight.
It’s an alright fight. It’s being promoted like it’s two kings that have cleaned out the division though. It’s not that big a fight, but being pushed hard and forced to be. Lets see the results.
It’s good for the sport.
Great point. I never understood why it took place in that arena. If it’s going to happen in america then Vegas or New York should be the choices.
Tyson was still banned from fighting in Nevada at the time.
I think Tennessee was one of the only states to give Mike a license to fight.
O.K we’ll see but remember this fight tonight was set to be 3 fights anyway.
To me AJ vs Klitschko was bigger I anticipated two knockout guys colliding and that’s what happened.
In terms of relevance THIS fight is bigger.
Both fighters are undefeated, the fight will also decide who is number 1 'Right now in the heavyweight division'.
Joshua and Kiltschko in terms of competitive action, is the best heavyweight fight of the last decade.

Klitschko vs AJ was far bigger then this so much they were able to air it twice live and on HBO rebroadcast which did huge numbers still to cater to the time zone differences ,that fight was a huge globally .This is a good fight but it’s not AJ vs Wlad was ,I think that was the best modern day fight we got.
Of course they have to build it and try to make it bigger then it is. If it’s exciting one then maybe a third fight will be a bit closer to what they wish it to be .
That was a awesome fight, the entire build up was great.
I believe this fight is the biggest heavyweight fight since Mike Tyson vs Lennox Lewis etc
It wouldn’t have mattered ,don’t you know what global means ? How many PPVs do you think Fury vs Wilder would do over here on U.K time and the other Wilder fan on here doesn’t know what rebroadcast means ? Wow you guys are so uneducated . Ha
This fight blows away Klit vs Joshua. It’s not even close. Fury vs Wilder 2 is way bigger globally than Klit vs Joshua. The fact you’re saying otherwise, then calling other people uneducated, is priceless. God bless my friend.
I dunno about that, lots of Floyd and Pac fights did big numbers, Canelo/GGG did well etc. I agree that boxing as a whole isnt as big now as it was in the 90s and earlier, but I think the correlation with boxings decline and what MMA has been doing in the meantime tends to be overstated. Its not like MMA fights get much hype usually either, and certainly never on the level that old school boxing did.
Well my point is that prior to MMA gaining popularity, the heavyweight boxing champion was considered the baddest man on the planet. That's not really the case anymore.
The biggest fights have always been the baddest man on the planet vs the other baddest man on the planet.
Truth is, once MMA gained popularity there are no boxing matches that reach the anticipation level of the old school days before MMA.

it is the most anticipated fight make no mistake.
Tyson Holyfield 2 was probably the biggest fight in my lifetime.

There were many Ali, Tyson, and Holyfield matches that were bigger than Wilder/Fury.
Its not even bigger than AJ/Wlad if we are talking globally, and AJ/Wlad wasnt half as big as Lennox/Tyson. Its a good fight and its nice to see HW boxing get a tiny bit of love of in the US these days (relative to the days when Rahman/Maskaev was doing 60,000 buys) but it absolutely pales in comparison to the 90s and earlier.
