Does Ryan Garcia speak Spanish fluently and completely understand it?

Have done my research, he doesn’t speak any Spanish. His father does. His mum understands and can speak a little bit of Spanish.

He does not speak Spanish. His corner was waving an American flag during the corner introductions yesterday, so he is not claiming to be something he's not. He does have some Mexican heritage, he's had the Mexican flag embroidered on his trunks in past fights. His parents both speak fluent English as well, his mom doesn't speak Spanish but I've heard his dad Henry Garcia speak fluent Spanish during an interview once, he claimed his parents were from Mexico. I guess that would make Ryan Garcia a third generation Mexican-American.
