Jorge Linares vs Ryan Garcia poll

This poll reveals that MANY people on this forum cannot see Garcia's flaws. That's not surprising.

Iam not trying to discredit Garcia's win it was a very savage ko . But I saw something. His chin was way in the air when he landed this shot .I think he needs some more step up type fights that will give him rounds . A good right hand could put his lights out while hes punching . I see mistakes which is okay , hes learning still but I dont see what some here see thinking he will starch tough matchups for himself . The linares fight is a gamble altho I will and have picked ryan to win this fight . But he needs rounds . They need to get him the right fights . Put him.in with gamboa before davis to gauge where he is at if they can . if he beats linares

Pretty much. Linares has been down several times now but also takes some good flush shots and remains vertical. Ryan's chin is more or less a total unknown. Enhances the intrigue Not just chin but his heart as well. What happens when he isnt front running? Or gets cut? Knocked down?

Seen Linares get dropped and cut too many times. Garcia will likely spark him out.

If Jorge Linares loses to Ryan Garcia....... he's disowned. He may as well retire. You can't lose to a social media influencer and be taken serious.

Voted Garcia , Linares chin is questionable and the kids power is real.Would not be a cake walk I think Linares gives the kid a scare before he gets KOed.

Garcia but if linares turns back the clock and just boxes ( which he has only done select tough fights ) I think he has a chance , but I voted for Garcia, I dont think linares has much left at this point . That being said I think the linares that fought Loma beats this version of garcia but I also dont think that GB would let this version of Garcia fight that version of Jorge if that makes sense ?? Also that linares doesn't exist anymore imo . I think moving up and getting blasted out by the bigger cano and the Loma loss took alot out of linares

I was there. Garcia was not impressive in that fight at all. You went from saying outclassed to he was not impressive big difference. Ryan won almost every round against Velez. At best Velez won 1 maybe 2 rounds that entire fight.

This is a good fight I see either Garcia catching and hurting Linares in a KO or Linares being too fast and skillful taking the young inexperienced kid to school. I'm banking on Linares winning rounds early but his punch resistance once again letting him down mid to late round stoppage for Garcia.

All i know is if garcia beats linares he will get more credit then when lomachenko did when linares had 2 losses less. And Lomachenko got more credit for stopping Linares in round 10 than Pablo Cesar Cano did for stopping Linares in round 1. :dunno:

Here is what is known about Linares. In each of his 5 losses, he was stopped. Twice in the first round, one was last year. And once in the 2nd. Garcia is taller with the longer reach.
