Danny has made some mistakes. He was really very popular at one point but he hasn’t capitalized on the Puerto Rican market. If he’s going to fight cans, he needs to fight every 5 months and hit Orlando Chicago with Brooklyn. He should be doing these kind of events while building towards his next opportunity. I understand he’s very well off financially and has had a ton of fights. But he really has opportunities that most boxers would dream of Seems like all the Promoters expect Mexican and Puerto Ricans to basically be a draw by ethnicity alone. Having visited Florida a few times, fights with guys like Ivan Redkach should be Orlando. Those kinda fights should be give back fights to the fans. Latinos are a loyal market.

Keith Thurman peaked at 2.7 million against josesito lopez on fox. you can get fox for free, even without a cable sub. shwotime is 15-20 a month. 2.7 million for a primetime spot on fox is terrible. the nfc championship did 42 million, for some context. viewership for boxing is going down on the whole. young people don't watch tv any more.

Also got to watch Joshua Ruiz 1 and 2, Inoue v Donaire (2019 FOTY), Jacobs v Dervechenko and JCC Jr, Andrade, Usyk, etc. DAZN is great for consumers and boxing. Hoping it takes over the landscape, honestly Floyd is The Best Ever. He was the ONLY man in HISTORY to beat boxing. dazn has the same old agendas hob & espn have by promoting foreigners & discrediting their own like they have with Andre Ward & Floyd Mayweather. dazn is so-so to me. They made some decent fights but won't dare make the elite fights, the only elite fight they made was Nelo/Jacobs. Their commentators aren't good either but Mora is okay I guess.... I pay for PPV fights, subscribed to Showtime, watch dazn for free but I don't pay or watch espn plus. I do watch regular espn when there is a fight televised though. dazn should be $5 a month & espn plus should be free since you have to pay for the regular espn subscription. Then I would have/watch all of them.

Pac fought Horn on free ESPN, got over 4.5 million views. A few years back, Danny was offered almost $4M to fight Pac and he turned it down. I wonder what he thinks he is worth now. He knows he would’ve lost to PAC and he wouldn’t have been able to carve out the career he has now. Now that he’s made his money and established a name in boxing, he’s okay fighting PAC and taking a loss because the paycheck would be icing on the cake. Same strategy Mayweather used. That’s all.

Herrera doesn’t get enough credit for what he did to Danny’s career. After that it was ultra safe fights unless there was big money.

He's not that big a deal. If he was he would have more viewers against anyone. If he had an exciting style and charisma there would be numbers. He's a good top 10 fighter who's boring. Carlos Palamino of the 20's kinda guy not a star but a good fighter.

you clearly don't understand how TV ratings work. You can't access the PBC telecast on the Fox app unless you're subscribed to the Fox TV channel. The TV channel subscribers that choose to stream are counted towards the TV ratings. what I'm talking about though, is Showtime subscribers that aren't subscribed to the TV channel. There are millions of people that subscribe directly to the Showtime app that can watch Showtime without subscribing to the Showtime TV channel. These people are not counted in the TV ratings. Fox and ESPN do not allow this. Showtime does. so showtime's TV ratings are very misleading. So is streaming the future or not?
