Ali did his fair share of jabbing and clinching tbh True. Ali was a great fighter but as he aged he got away with a lot of holding and benefited from favorable judging. The true greatness of Ali was that he was bigger than boxing and was loved by people all over the world.

Hmm, I can say for sure I'd like him less, but, ever since I was young I wondered how many people who speak about Ali or Tyson ever actually watched them vs how many were just going along with public craze. So, i think maybe The Lip gets up there regardless. Because if he still has his mouth and still has his wins over big names then I'm sure he still has his control of public perceptions. Ali was one of the greatest because he had action packed fights and he fought till the end, no running or relying on points.

Does he still have the same resume? Same resume, except all his KO/TKO wins are UD/SD and absolutely no knockdowns in his fights, just winning on points. With very low volume output of punches.
