I rewatched round 7 and 9 and gave them to Pascal. I can pretty much understand now any result. True close fight.
Just score it again on a round by round basis. Maybe a draw was fair but I think saying "robbed" is a different thing.
My bad guys. I pushed so much the narrative of robbery but then I watched it again and it was no robbery.

This fight proved once again that Jack starts off too slow(I was a fan of his and he's still a very good fighter). He really needs to be get going at the very start of the fight rather than the second half, which is why too many of his fights end up draws or close decisions.
it is getting ridiculous
like I said earlier, very few " robberies "... are actual robberies
casual fans have tell-tale signs... this is starting to become one of them
90% of fans only watch one fighter... very few accurately score a fight
Most of the time it’s favouritism ,not even truthfulness
And then you get the butt hurt haters who scream robbery anytime their fighter doesn’t get the nod
Great post! Props to Maxi for being humble. It's easy to get caught up in the scoring of a fight especially if you have had a few cold ones. The fight could have gone either way but Jack certainly finished strong.
Thanks. Yeah, alcohol often plays a role. Haha
It was an entertaining fight. I hate to see someone lose one of those, but everyone likes to see a decisive outcome. Jack walked off in disgust. Can’t blame him. You pour your heart and soul into the training, then into a tough fight, only to have the judges give it to the other guy. Even worse when it seems most other people thought you won.
It’s good to see someone admit they were wrong. As I’ve said before, I thought it was a toss-up fight. I was half thinking the judges would call it a draw, although I was leaning towards Badou. Any result would’ve been fine with me, as long as the cards reflected the closeness of the bout (which they did). In so many of these close matches, people tend to get upset if the guy they saw as the winner loses. Yet, there are usually at least a couple of rounds that could’ve gone either way. If even one judge leans toward the other guy, it changes the result. It’s usually not a robbery. A robbery is any fight where there is a clear winner — in effect, by a wide margin. There can be no question, no close rounds to affect the eventual outcome.

Close fight, no robbery. but I think Jack won by 2 or 3 points. Pascal had some rounds he was losing by not doing much and getting outlanded by the busier Jack and then tried to steal the round with a furry of punches at the sound of the ten second warning. Maybe it worked on the two judges that gave him the fight.

Right on man. I saw Jack winning personally though I didn't score it but I wasn't mad or surprised at the outcome. Honestly thought it was gonna be a draw lol.
Definitely no robbery
Only reason why I kept quiet is the fact that it seems to be the fad , especially on this site , to be calling any close fight a robbery
The fact that Jack starts so fughin slow I think throws the judges really off , like he’s laughing at them
His bad and can’t understand how he doesn’t fix this problem

this happens all the time.... now
less than 10% of the so-called " robberies "... are actually robberies
you could watch this sport for years and not see one
fans see whatever they want to see, and very few truly know how to score a fight properly... you can tell by the comments, punchstats doe lol
crying robbery is their way of justifying how wrong they were

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJsLEO465usNo, it's alright. All of us boxing fans at some point in time has done the same thing. We have a tendency of getting caught up in the moment and our zeal for our favorite fighters at times can cloud our better judgement.
