I think Davis is genuinely a nice kid, and its obviously Mayweather who calls the shots for him. However, if he doesn't start fighting someone who has a pulse within the next fight or two I see no reason to continue and support this malarkey.
I only watch Gervonta fight if he's on a Charlo, Adrien "Bout Billions" Broner, Mayweather (vs Conor) undercard LMAO if he fights Mares, LSC & even a M Garcia in the future I would tune in until then nah yo
I mean his career up to this point is a ****-show to be honest. It's not really a problem to me that He's fighting lesser opposition if his handlers and his team feel He's not ready - I only have a problem with it being sold as world title fights and also Gervonta talking about fighting top guys while He's clearly not willing to compete.
It's just a fraud and dishonest, so He has to be called out on it.
Don't know about Boycott, his fights since Pedraza didn't really interest me anyway. Like on his last card, I was looking forward to 3 undercard fights more and They were all more interesting and competitive.
I still watched Gamboa fight, but that's what I do - I follow boxing.
Rigodeaux. Walters. Linares. Martinez. Are cans now? :lol1::lol1:
Loool I saw that too and was like wow, how much you wanna bet he’s one of those guys that thinks Ortiz is the HW boogie man.
I say the same thing about all Loma's cans (basically his whole resume, except Russell). Loma better fight Lopez next, before an absolute can embarrasses him, or KOs him. Not liking what I'm seeing from Loma, fight after fight.
Basically his whole resume? Lomachenkos resume is filled with fighting either champions or top contenders, comparing his resume to Tanks is an insult to resumes.
Well no UK network seemed to give enough of a crap to bother showing the last one so as it stands I have nothing to boycott.
However no I wouldn't. He's entertaining. I wouldn't pay for his PPV's if he did some but I'd make sure to see them some how. Id point out its bums he's facing though cuz he talks too much crap on the Internet about the top guys to then go and duck them all. I call a chump a chump and this guys a chump.
Tanks fans will support him because will... he's Tank!
Tank has crossover into pop culture.
Boxing fans alone cannot dictate Tank's opponents.
Tank's fans are coming to see Tank and ONLY Tank regarless of who he is fighting! Mayweather Promotions is doing an excellent job with Tank!
I have never seen dude mentioned anywhere but boxing sites. How has he crossed over to pop culture?
On a serious note it is time to put him in shark infested waters. He will never improve until he has a real battle. Also keep him active. Get him fighting 3 times a year. Keep him in the gym and keep him in shape. Only then we will see how good he can be. He could be amazing, but he will not be from the way they are handling him now.
They don't even need to throw him to the wolves, but gradually step up his competition. A guy like Commey or Garcia as his next fight would be ideal, he doesn't have to fight Loma, Lopez, or Haney next, but he should be moving toward that direction by the end of the year.

I don't even tune in unless the card is stacked like the AB-Jessie Vargas, Jermall Charlo-Hugo Centeno event when Tank knocked out Cuellar or the Floyd-McGregor PPV
The mood feels as though Davis lost. WTF is this?
The guy moved to a new weight:
1. Fought a two-time gold medalist and former champion, with 4
The same can be said about Shannon Briggs or Roy Jones Jr.
And that's the problem.
well then i guess tank struggeld because thats how many rounds pedraza won
Davis dealt with Pedraza dismissively and disrespectfully. Took his 0, his heart, and everything. Pedraza rearranged Loma's face. Stick to the facts.
This isn't tribal, like politics, I have absolutely no allegiance to any promotion or group of fighters. I think they're wasting Tanks talent and star power by not stepping him up. Watch it's only going to be a matter of time before one of these tomato cans beats Tank and therefore tanks his whole earning potential.

It shows how highly he's rightly rated, by you and all. Keep watching, daggum.
I'm sure you remember me being one of the only ones on here to give Gamboa a chance prior to the fight. I was right. I wanted it to go all 12, but I predicted Davis 10. Gamboa quit as soon as he felt Gervonta's punches in round 2.
I developed a lot of respect for Ref Jack Reiss having none of that. It could have been stopped right then and there by Gamboa saying he can't fight.
Kudos, Reiss. Otherwise I'd be arguing with you about the stoppage now.
congratulations on fulfilling your own absurd self fulfilling prophecy but he didnt have a chance did you even watch the fight? when was he in it?
How many rounds has Gamboa won? I wasn't following the scoring. I'll say none, or maybe 1 or 2.
Respect.

This is way too extreme. If you haven’t boycotted the non pbc boxers that feasted on weak comp you shouldn’t propose it for the pbc guys because it comes off as biased.

we all lose when tank fights. we all lose.

The guy moved to a new weight:
1. Fought a two-time gold medalist and former champion, with 4 straight wins prior to this.
2. Filled up a stadium with 15 thousand boxing fans like us.
3. Won a championship belt (for those who recognize the crooked belt orgs).
4. Knocked his opponent down 3 times before the finish.
5. Gamboa is 38 (the only thing people hold on to).
He scored his performance a C+. I agree. More to come.
we all lose when tank fights. we all lose.
You can't take anything those brainless idiots are saying, seriously.
Wow tank is 25? :lol1: Somehow thought he was 22 or something still.
Yikes.
tarver turned pro when he was 28. its a shame he isnt still around with fanboys. then the age would be "you dont have to fight good fighters until you turn 29!"
