Only the truly great American champions get the honor of having a paid exhibition against a Japanese fighter. The bottom line is Floyd, Manny and Canelo are 3 serious contenders for FOTD. Floyd defeated both of them, winning no fewer than 20 of the 24 rounds. Everything he did after beating Manny was the reward for beating the #2 p4p fighter in the world 10 rounds to 2. Then he schooled 2 time world champ Berto. The McGregor and Tenshin fights were just publicity stunts for easy money. For all intents and purposes, Floyd retired with the Berto win. Floyd is 24-0-0-0 in fights against people who won at least one world title, 26-0-0-0 in world title fights, a 5 division world champion, and a 4 division lineal champion. He has nothing to prove to anybody in any context.
