Wilder's 2 KO wins over Ortiz >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Joshua going 1-1 against a 5'10 fat turd with the footspeed of a turtle
Ortiz would box his head off havana style.
The second fight was not necessary- though, he just took that to avoid Whyte.
Agreed it wasn't really necessary...but it wasn't to "avoid Whyte". It was more boxing politics that goes back to 2017 or even before. Too long a story but most people know even if they won't like to admit.
Everyone is sleeping on Whyte. He's better than Fury and Ortiz, and that is why Deontay is ducking him.
Whyte better than Fury? Are you high?
Whyte, Parker, Ruiz, Ortiz are all second-tier and about the same level at this time. Fury, Wilder, and AJ are the first tier.
Finkel can steer Wilder to 50 wins, but it won't mean.much unless he steps up and fights Whyte, AJ, Dubois, Ajagba and more.
None of top tier is likely to fight Dubois or Ajagba anytime soon.
Not Wilder, not Fury, and not Joshua. It is a high-risk low-reward fight at this point. No fight until Dubois builds a profile and climbs the ranks. He's certainly got the talent. Ajagba is more raw and needs to polish his skills, otherwise, he will get outclassed.
Looking at the fight and how ponderous Ortiz was..... I would say Ruiz rips him to shreds inside And knocks him out.
Ortiz only claim to fame was Bryant Jennings and Jennings has no punch.
You have fury getting beaten up by Otto Wallin and scraping past with a W.
All fury or wilder has to do is sign on the dotted line and make a career huge payday against AJ but they won’t and would rather earn 5 million each.
I cannot work that out and all I can put it down to is they both know they will lose but at least in February one of them will be out the equation with there rematch and then we will see who signs for a mega purse.
Let’s be honest. The only way to know who is the better fighter is to..........HAVE THEM FIGHT EACH OTHER!!!!!
Tell it to that bull**** spouting liar Wilder - he's a fuuuking lying coward.
I would love some of those dissing Ortiz as a no-resume fighter or an old man to actually fight him and prove that he ain't a serious threat to anyone, even at this age.
Otherwise, give the man some respect.
Joshua has fought MUCH better opposition to Wilder, but Ortiz is a great hw and Wilder deserves props for beating him. The second fight was not necessary- though, he just took that to avoid Whyte.

Ruiz was undefeated and ranked in the top 5 when they fought. Wilder himself called Ruiz the number 2 guy behind himself prior to this rematch and said he already had a deal in place to face Ruiz. Why would Wilder be eager to fight such a bum?
The fake news stuff isn’t working out to well.
You can't reason with these morons. They think Wilder is a commercial success. They think Trump is for the working man.

I love Wilder and his fanboys running their mouths, but that skinny Alabama simpleton has no balls and won't take the fight. Well, at least not for 100 million lol.
Better he listens to his slave master white man Finkel and continues fighting in front of a few thousand airheads in a town hall. LMAO at him and his delusional posse.
He beat Tony Thompson and Bryant Jennings both top 10 at the time.
Ruiz has done nothing except beat Joshua. that says how bad Joshua is.
Agreed.Joshua has been exposed.
So the #1 HW is irrelevant? Lol these mental gymnastics you gotta do are crazy.
.
Show me how Fury is irrelevant in a conversation where you are trying to prove to me that Ortiz isn’t overrated or overhyped.
Because Ortiz hasn’t proven anything worth note. This is why you are all over the place with bringing irrelevant boxers like Fury/Wlad/AJ into the conversation.
You have so far haven’t proven how great Ortiz is. I have told you and anyone of these guys, Ortiz is the most overrated/overhyped HW of this era. This was like when Margarito was around here in his earlier days.
So the #1 HW is irrelevant? Lol these mental gymnastics you gotta do are crazy.
At the end of the day AJ got blasted out by a 10-15 guy, that'd never happen to Ortiz & he fought the loser of Wlad-Fury.

Fury is irrelevant in this convo. I have laid the bare fact on you. Jennings who was Ortiz’s best win is no more than Seth Mitchell in levels. Those are facts, both their resumes are comparable because they didn’t do s hit. The only time they both stepped it up they lost.

But you compared BJ to Mitchell.
The only way your argument makes sense is if Wlad didn't get schooled by Fury.

I haven't been following the convo, but I hate when people throw around irresponsible statements and Fury schooling Wlad is an all too common one. First of all, for me a "schooling" has to be a 10-2 decision or worse. If a guy has taken 3 or more rounds off someone, they've been competitive period. It was a fight where both guys struggled to get off, Fury did a better job with the jab...it was an 8-4 or 7-5 type decision....maybe 9-3 if you give Fury all the swing rounds.
Now you can carry on...
Fury-Wlad was a near shutout, the only reason Wlad "won" any rounds was because it was in Germany. Wilder did significantly better than Wlad did against Fury.
But you compared BJ to Mitchell.
The only way your argument makes sense is if Wlad didn't get schooled by Fury, didn't get in a 116-111 type bout against BJ, but both happened & to further prove my point AJ was KOd by a borderline top 10 HW not known for his power. My claims are backed up perfectly & my rankings have been correct for years.

No am saying Ortiz is the most overrated and overhyped HW of our era. His resume backed up my claims perfectly.

Here we go, you have to KO someone now to be on the level of Jennings? Whose best win was who? szpilka? Perez? Do you guys even do your research before posting?
I would pick Jonathon Banks over those names. And you talk about someone trolling? :biggthump
John Banks is that deciding factor huh. Definite troll.
Seth Mitchell didn't beat, let alone ko, anybody on BY-BY Bryant Jennings level. Who went 12 good rds with the champ. You trolling?

You deflecting, stay on the subject. Ortiz has only beaten one recognised name, the same level as Seth Mitchell. Which makes him the most overrated and overhyped HW boxer of our era. Your list of his opponents confirms that for us. Thank you. :boxing:

Ortiz has not proven anything to make anyone pick him over Ruiz. Ruiz would maul him and stop him in the late rounds IMHO. Especially once Ortiz starts tiring down the stretch and starts to lose concentration.
I won't be surprised if Ruiz wins by brutal KO.
