No version of Ruiz was likely to beat the Joshua that showed up today. Virtually every version beats bodybuilding Joshua.
Would have been great if Ruiz had trained but he couldn’t make himself taller nor into some modern version of Smokin Joe Frazier.
Wow Black Clothing is really slimming for sure I thought he was playing some mind games and he wasn't really 283 but seeing him in that ring without his Black Shirt...oh yeah he was almost 300 lbs for sure
With that being said, not like he was knocked out or anything, he wasn't even dropped this time so it is a Lose he can bounce back from and make people forget easily with a Few impressive Wins but also GETTING IN BETTER SHAPE and show that when he is in shape he is a different fighter
I would LOVE to see Andy Ruiz vs Kownacki
Boxing fans can be real pathetic sometimes, how anyone can support him after that, i do not know. He took everyone for suckers. We should support people that try, not this farce.
Ruiz would absolutely destroy Kownacki. Eat him alive. That's a terrible matchup for the Poll, stylistically.
Tend to think he'd beat Ortiz too.
Wilder would KO Ruiz. Dude just eats too many right hands - which is fine because he has a great chin. But not against Wilder.
I don't know if Ruiz beats Ortiz, he better be disciplined and on his game.
Kownacki vs Ruiz would be an exciting war.
Of course, you just have to accept he's not a disciplined fighter and will be a bit inconsistent. I'm not going go lie, it was disgusting seeing how he was eating two weeks before the fight, but this is just who he is.
Bring on Ruiz vs Kownacki or Ortiz!

I wanted Joshua to win but I'm disappointed for Ruiz. He's going to regret the decisions he made over the last few months.
Or maybe he doesn't care? He got paid, he'll continue to get paid (less, but still good) and he achieved something all of us would give our left nut for - he was the Heavyweight Champion of the World.
There was an article posted yesterday that I thought was really good. Probably puts this version of Ruiz into perspective - it's not a surprise that he didn't go hard for the fight.

Yeah.
You have to wonder about his motivation going forward after tonights payday. The first fight and win seemingly made him lose drive. Now he made eve more money tonight.
If he couldn’t get his fat ass into the gym and not come in ridiculously heavy for the biggest fight and payday of his life, how motivated is he going to be for smaller money and profile? Especially now he’s loaded.
