Big props to aj didn't think he had the focus and mental agility to adjust in 6 month

Watched it last night. Wasn't impressed, poor standard overall. Joshua edged it technically, but Ruiz still looked the more dangerous. He's a street fighter who wants to get in close, and while Joshua moved around a lot, unlike an Ali didn't land anything on him while moving around. So yeah, technically Joshua thought it through and did what he needed to, but some of the greats would have dealt with Ruiz and be smoking a cigar by the end of Round 3 at most.

This is how he shouldve fought Ruiz the first time. Definitely agree on this and if he hadn't rushed in after the knockdown of ruiz it may have been like last nights performance.

Use the KLitchsko method, stay away, box him, make it boring , yada yada yada, so many guys were saying that on here. The props is that AJ had the discipline to make those changes and stick to them. He is not Wilder and now we know what happens when he tries to be Wilder. And I think he was almost immediately aware of and regretting that, after the first fight. Those KO's and KD's are great and exciting. But with all these belts and so much at stake, you do what you have to do. To heck with what people will write tomorrow. That man has reclaimed his title and the belts... Thats the thing bro, i was reading all those predictions beforehand but wasn't sure aj could make those adjustments in 6 months plus his ability to adjust and slow ruiz down in there was astonishing. Its one thing talking about it pre fight but to go in there as he did after being stopped by the same person previously was great.

- -Not a great fight, and so far removed from his all conquering unified title reign as to question his longevity at the top. Thats your opinion. Just look at his fight in June, most people wouldn't have had the fortitude to come back 6 months later and dominate like that it wasn't about conquering it was about redemption and getting belts back both of which he accomplished last night.

He fought like a scared little girl. Too bad Ruiz mailed this one in. I don't think he trained very hard for this one. He could be a wrecking ball at 255lbs. I still would like to see him vs Wilder.the guy just got simply outboxed if you don't have that one hitter quitter like a Mike Tyson or deontay you just outta luck and even if Ruiz did have a one hitter quitter he'd be to fat and outta shape to get in position to land it with an defensively sound fighter.

Ruiz got schooled. That was a bit embarrassing listening to the excuses he made in the post fight interview. Joshua showed his class and looked faster and better than he's ever looked, AND his stamina was a big surprise. I've always thought he lacked in stamina in his previous fights but he showed excellent conditioning in this fight! Impressive win for him.
