The announcement of the location of Saudi Arabia seemed very strange to me and something about that region feels unreliable. Ruiz’s style is all wrong for Joshua, but Hearn and Joshua know that they absolutely cannot lose this fight. I smell some BS brewing.
The short answer is HELL YES. I think it adds to the attraction. Almost anything can happen.
Ruiz almost HAS to knock out AJ. Maybe five or six knockdowns will do it, not sure.
In terms of corruption regarding the actual fight..well it’s likely, if required.
Make no mistake, Ruiz is up against AJ and the Judges here. Probably the ref too. I’d imagine it’s going to be a ref that is going to make it like AJ v Parker.
Ruiz is getting no favours. It’s Hearn’s show and he wants them belts in his stable and will get them by any means necessary, as long as Ruiz doesn’t knock AJ out again.
I don’t think the fact it’s in Saudi is going to make much difference. It’d still be Hearn’s show with his ref and judges even if it was in California.
Ruiz isn't going to win any close rounds. That isn't Saudi Arabia's fault, that is today's A-side boxing, unfortunately. Ruiz needs at least 7 very clear rounds, Joshua needs to stay on his feet & keep 7 rounds fairly close.
I would not say any more likely than anywhere else, but I will say that any round than Ruiz just shades will go to Joshua, just like in the first fight. I didn't give Joshua 1 round in the first fight, though I scored the first 10-10 as next to nothing happened, which is common in first rounds, so if he got that one, I wouldn't complain, but he had no case for any other rounds, and I recall two judges had him winning 4 of the rounds, which was absolutely absurd.
- -U in Andy shade now or closer?

With the nonsense taking place in both the UK and America in regards to questionable scoring, fighters serving 6 month bans for being found with muiltple PEDs in their system, fighters randomly being promoted to franchise status and world champions being allowed to avoid mandatorys for years at a time...I think Saudi corruption is the least of your concerns.
"Something about the region seems unreliable" like what exactly? They have had multiple boxing events there before without issue.
Probably far more reliable than fighting in the US...

I made a post about the reported issues the WWE had dealing with events in Saudi. Sum people tried to light me up over it. I didn’t make any comments about a fix or anything, just more about concerns of getting paid, production, last minute bull*****. Anything can happen with a heavyweight championship in Saudi.
I don't see how it can any more corrupt than Boxing in the USA. that is the mecca of cheating and corruption. I know the Americans on here don't like to hear that or admit it or acknowledge it but its the truth, ask any boxing fan from anywhere else in the world. Americans are either in denial or are just too close to the cheating to see it.

I like it when the excuses are building up already.
Lol I’m a Wilder fan you dumb ass, I don’t need to make excuses for anyone. I’m just asking a legitimate question.
