Yeah, I thought he was going to waive it off when I saw his eyes when he was on the ground just looking like his wife lifted up her skirt and whipped a **** out. He still was in no place to defend himself though IMO. Dude...lol on the bold :) Yeah a big reason why I was even somewhat leaning towards it being OK to continue was it being the end of the round...but if the ref thought Wilder would get even 1 more free shot at Ortiz at that point I think it was a good stoppage, not just an OK stoppage.

The stoppage was a good one, more than that though, a necessary one too. Far too many boxers are dying in the ring, he did not need to be subjected to a free wilder shot(s)

Can the ref stop waving off the fights and just do his job and count to 10. Even you know the fighter won’t be able to make it count and if he’s up by 10 ask him how he’s doing and make the call. I don’t like the fact as soon as wilder land a big KD punch, count to 10 instead of just waving it off like a crazy man. Fury fight will be stopped by 7 out 10 refs in boxing
