The wilder-ortiz PPV??

I'd rather see this on Showtime for sure. The first fight was great but I agree that Ortiz has faded while Wilder has improved. On the other hand, I'd rather see Wilder fight Ortiz while he waits for the Fury rematch than picking off fringe contenders like Fury and Pulev have been doing.

Talking rubbish again . The under card is already done,so we know the undercard stinks. Fury was not tied up it was known he was fighting Wilder in February of 2020 ,Fury hand picked Ortiz way before that as planned and was forced to fight him because Haymon had to promise Ortiz a title shot for not taking the AJ one. before yo respond with more lunacy ,Ortiz admitted his team fouled it up and that's because Ortiz manager was ordered to not take the AJ offer . I'm on the fence about this one. The first fight was incredible, but most feel Ortiz have declined since the first fight while wilder has improved. It's guaranteed to provide action, but i expect an early wilder knockout. I think the undercard is pretty disappointing as well. Santa Cruz looks to be in pretty easy against Flores n will win a lopsided decision to win a fake belt. Nery-rodriguez is another mismatch as Rodriguez was just destroyed by naoya Inoue. There are two dazn cards that day, which makes the decision to pass on the PPV more likely. So will you be buying? I generally order all PPVs, but I'm thinking I'll likely skip this one. Disappointing PPV from pbc, following the incredible spence-porter PPV. I rarely order PPVs, but I'll be ordering this one for sure. Wilder is must see TV. Almost always ends in a knockout and when it doesn't, it's still exciting. I have three buddies coming over to split the PPV, so it's only $20 each. Undercard has two additional world title fights plus Luis Nery as well. Main event is TBRB #3 heavyweight vs. TBRB #6 heavyweight. Both are massive punchers. The first fight was a classic. I don't see any way the night isn't $20 worth of excitement.

the first fight was sold as ortiz the boogeyman. now that angle is lost. ortiz aint no boogeyman no more and he has looked bad since losing to wilder. this PPV is trash. but i blame paulie malignaggi for this rematch. it was his ranting after round 7 about the "extra" time given to wilder that ignited talks for a rematch. fck you Paulie this one is being sold as wilder vs the oldyman

Unless my friends want to see it I am not buying this. There is no reason for a rematch but at the same time everybody is tied up with a fight and Fury ain't fighting until next year. But still I don't see this as a ppv event unless they have a spectacular undercard which more than likely it will not have.

Hell no. Its a rematch that doesnt need to happen as Wilder won the fight fair and square. He literally knocked the gulf out of Ortiz's old azz. This fight shouldve been on showtime or on the regular fox channel. But as they say... Theres a sucker born every minute and a fanboy coming out the closet every second...

Those streams can cut off anytime. Better to watch with a group of friends. Split it between yall, it's like fifteen bucks.

Yes, I will be purchasing it. Nery/Rodriguez is a mismatch because Inoue destroyed Rodriguez? Well, Inoue destroyed Payano and we saw how that fight went with Nery. Just because Inoue blasts these guys out doesn't mean Nery will be the same. This is a fine fight. Santa Cruz fight is the worst of the card. Figueroa/Ceja can be exciting or Figueroa can just blow him out....Rigo struggled hard with Ceja, but Rigo could be really passed it at this point. Though Figueroa is unproven and hasn't really beat anyone legit yet. Wilder can obviously end ANY fight with one shot, but rounds wise, he's still going to struggle against Ortiz who is the superior boxer. He also has a solid chin so it should be competitive for as long as it lasts.

Thanks for the input guys. You've helped influence my decision to avoid this PPV, n rightfully so. The main event should provide fireworks, but I think we all know Ortiz ends up on his back. Trash undercard. I think the golden boy card that night has potential to be much more competitive, n cancios story is refreshing.

this has to be one of the worst cards ever. ortiz looks completely done and is fatter and older than ever. the undercard: santa cruz vs a guy who was ko'd twice recently before picking up 2 tune up wins figeroua vs a guy who was ko'd in his last 2 fights nery vs a guy who was ko'd in his last fight luckily hardly anyone will see it so that's good

garbage, joke of a pay per view. this fight was made for a river. i won't buy that ****. styles make fights and they're two HW with power, but FFS ortiz is 50 years old and we all know it.

Well I'm in the UK and it ain't on ppv over here. So luckily it's fine for us. Obviously most Americans will either ignore it or illegally stream it cuz neither the fight or card is worth 80 bucks
