These PBC fighters are never going into a fight fans want them in.
They just pick whoever they want regardless of fans' objections.
Look at Wilder, Charlo, Tank, etc.
This is boxing nowadays. Fk the fans.
Charlo tried to fight Canelo but the WBC and ODH conspired against him. Yet you blame Charlo for that. The WBC cut him out so they can assure they keep getting their cut from Canelo's fights knowing if he loses to Charlo that 3% gut is a lot less.
When will you ever blame the people and the sanctioning bodies/organizations that block the fights you allegedly want to see so bad?
You never find fault with TR, DAZN, GBP, and the sanctioning bodies and networks putting finances ahead of what fans want. Yet if PBC puts finances first like them you make it out to be the end of the sport.
Why the difference??
All these mfers happy enough when they making good bank for bs fights. Hell the least happy mfer in this mix of cats is Haney & hes the one making the best & boldest claims. I wonder if he'll walk the same walk when hes making a couple mill per fight & more. Hopefully he will but I feel like the odds are against it just cuz most cats talk like Thurman when he was a contender & then they talk about their biggest threats to losing like Thurman did when he was the #1 guy to most or many anyway.
Mfers outlook get changed & it changes their words & actions a lot.
Truth. They're all hungry but once their belly's start getting full they get content real quick to just BS around and make bank while taking no chances anymore.
It's no longer about legacy, it's about filling your pockets and taking less risk along the way. They win, we lose.
Ellerbe just did a interview on fight hype said the offer for Tank was 7 million and he makes more, also said he offer Farmer 2 million to come to showtime for the fight.
I'd really appreciate a link, lol.
First time I'm hearing $7m associated with any DAZN offer, and it's sure as heck the first time hearing that Davis is already earning over $7m to fight.
LOL you need to stop getting your fake news off racists on the Internet. They leading you astray with nonsense then you come on here thinking you know what you are talking about but being very wrong and looking a bit of a tit
Are you trying to say that Farmer does currently have a deal with DAZN?
Man I like your thoughtfulness when you post but I think you get a little delusional when it comes to what these PBC guys are making. There is no way on this earth that Tank makes 5 million a fight unless they gave him some sort of huge signing bonus up front and you add that into his average purse. There are few guys in this sport who could come close to that number realistically.
Wilder
Joshua
GGG
Canelo
Maybe Spence when he fought Porter?
Even Crawford ain't sniffing 5 mill anytime soon unless he and Spence fight. Loma not even close either.
I'm not arguing that Gervonta Davis is making $5m a fight (and even on the $5m offer, depending on what Floyd's piece is, you're really talking about $3.5m to Davis; Kovalev getting $12m, but paying Top Rank it's $2m plus whatever piece Main Events got exposes some folleys of just looking at the sticker price).
I'm arguing that Gervonta Davis is on enough money now, doing business in a way that he knows and that is comfortable that the premium (if there is even any) isn't worth having someone run you the way they see fit.
Gervonta Davis is a headline fighter now; I don't know if he's maxed out yet, but the old rule of thumb would have Davis on $1.5m-$2m in disclosed purses (nevermind the rest of the money).
Fighting where he wants to fight, and all that jazz.
Giving that up for a capped $3.5m doesn't make much sense, especially if that ends up meaning no one gets to see the fight anyway.
Davis has dates; Farmer doesn't. Davis is a champion; Farmer is a champion. Make the deal.
$2m Farmer/$5m Davis would basically put things just short of 70/30 Davis (which makes sense, tbh).
Make that the deal, stage the fight at Barclays Center (or Vegas if the money makes sense), Showtime/CBS backs it with the marketing money, and you see how big a pie Davis and Farmer can build together.
Why don't you guy ask him about his mandatory Javier Fortuna
If you check the WBC rankings Tank was made mandatory, I think Fortuna is under him.. but I agree no tank fight Fortuna. But bottom line Tank has yet to fight anyone yet... how can you say its not Haney's belt when Tank has fought for 2 vacant WBA belts.. this makes the 2nd one.
Tank is fighting Yuriorkis Gamboa in Atlanta, and they've sold out of the initial staging for the fight in less than two weeks, with more seats opening up (fans vs resellers is unknown so far).
And Davis is on his third Showtime date (Showtime just signed that 4 year, $60m per year, 12+ cards deal with PBC).
That's not even counting everything (sponsors, UK TV, what DAZN likely psys to get the rights for their other countries, etc).
$5m is a nice round number to throw out there to the folks that don't know ****, but that completely ignores what Mayweather Promotions and Davis are splitting up right now with Davis as a marquee fighter.
If it's not already over $5m, it's likely near enough that offer got laughed at.
Because folks forget ****; remember when Hearn first got his billion dollar deal and was gloating about his takeover, started throwing out what he felt like were astronomical numbers, only to find out that the guys he was pursuing already had pay packages that topped the offer to begin with.

Farmer isn't worth anything to tank? World titles and career high pay days isn't worth anything to tank? You are a massive PBC hugger and will defend any amount of ducking.
Nope, having Farmer on his resume means nothing. B/tches like you would eventually downplay that win. Cause that’s just how you little b/tches operate.
Why are all of you acting new to pro boxing? Fighters contractually obligated to fight on one network aren’t going to fight on another network, in a different promoter’s undercard. Unless the fighter is bigger than the promoter and the fight is work 9 digits.
And Farmer isn’t good. Stop hyping him up. He’s not worth it for Tank. Gamboa is the better fighter to have on your resume. Stop this Farmer nonsense. Haney is 20 years old. He benefits from calling out more established names from other promoters/networks, that can’t fight him right now. That’s how it is. He does it for himself and for the fans, to gain attention from the hardcore fans. When he steps up and is an established name, the same will be done to him. He will be called out by some young boxer who makes no sense to fight.

Haney wants big fights. Fortuna is a decent test for him. Maybe Haney should ask to be franchise champ so he can make the best fights
Big fights? He’s 20 years old with no names on his resume. He needs Fortuna on there. You gotta fight the B level fighters before calling out the A level fighters. At this point he’s just calling out names to increase his rep. He knows what’s up.
If I was a pro fighter I know exactly what to do for attention. Go on twitter and call out Lomachenko, Pacquiao, GGG, Canelo, Spence, Estrada. There will be no limit to my call outs. I will go crazy and fans would eat it up. They’ll be hyped and call those fighters duckers and i’ll be popular without fighting anyone of note.
“Damn that boy Kev would fight anybody! Wow we need morw fighters like him!”

Tevin Farmer literally has no contract with DAZN right now; he fought through the end of his deal, DAZN said that the inflated purses are over, and Farmer is still just sitting there, waiting on Golden Boy Promotions to be ready with one of their dates from that 50 date, $90m deal.
Let's be real here.
Farmer has no dates; Davis is setting up for his 3rd date, and the PPV engine is getting revved up.
Lou DiBella does tons of business with Haymon, and he's work with Mayweather Promotions to get deals too.
Value is value, but if the $2m was low, think it through and negotiate a piece

This is what happens when you sign with Hearn. You gotta beg for fights on Twitter. Haney was the hottest you prospect a year ago and now he's being laughed at for fighting on a YouTube card and dumped on for getting an email belt. These American fighters need to stick to American Promoters who know what they're doing.
Lol, Tank been in 45 unifying championship fights on twitter and not one in real life.
Hearn publicly offered Tank $5m for one fight on DAZN but Tanks team said no, because they don’t want him going to DAZN to fight. I don’t really blame Tank for that, but his team certainly aren’t going to let their biggest prospect go fight on other promoters cards and networks.
They did what’s best for them, not what’s best for the fighter.

THEY WERE RIGHT. People were saying that Team Tank turned down a good offer to fight Farmer, counter it with a worse offer then hide behind that worse offer as if they were the ones trying to make the fight. AND HERE WE ARE. These Pro PBC fanboys are getting real easy to predict these days.
