GGG looked like **** against a Derevyanchenko and Canelo just ko’d krusher at 175. GGG is also over the hill and will lose an easy decision this time (wont look close)
Can't see Golovkin beating Canelo at this juncture, if fact I can only see Canelo beating Golovkin clearly and decisively. Canelo's in his prime and Golovkin would be 38 years old at the earliest time such a fight could take place. The fights that were meaningful already happened and whilst I personally thought GGG deserved the nod both times the official results are what they are.
I dont think you realizing this but all you are saying is
"I BELIEVE GGG CAN WIN A 3rd FIGHT BECAUSE I BELIEVE IT"
PS:
In the first fight Canelo boxed and GGG pressured/ you gave GGG 8-4?
In the 2nd fight GGG boxed and Canelo pressured/ you gave GGG 8-4?
and you call the style of the W "Identical fashions"
lmfao IM done.
2nd fight Canelo held the center of the ring well, that is true...I wouldn't say they swapped roles really though...Nelo just held the center of the ring much better.
When I said 'in the same fashion', I was referring to the fact that in both fight Canelo started well in the early rounds with his speed advantage...GGG was also in those rounds too with his volume punching...those first few rounds in each fight were close, 2-1 either way type rounds.
Rounds 4-6 in each fight were pretty clearly at least 2-1 GGG in both...Canelo was starting to slow a bit from his original pace...and GGG was starting to settle in a bit now and loosen up.
Then in each fight GGG had 3 straight rounds late where he swept them pretty clearly...7 8 9 in fight 1...9 10 11 in fight 2...I have never watched those 2 fights and ever scored one of those rounds for Canelo.
So yeah, similar fights...Canelo starting fast and making the first few rounds tight...then he slows a bit and GGG settles in, and starts to pile up rounds, with some pick em rounds in there as well.
Cool, send a letter to Canelo and hope he believes you. Cuz he keeps ducking him.
Exactly, all canelo does is make excuses, I don’t like him I think was the best, what better reason to fight someone, ridiculous excuses
I dont think you realizing this but all you are saying is
"I BELIEVE GGG CAN WIN A 3rd FIGHT BECAUSE I BELIEVE IT"
I just saw him beat him twice with my own eyes...if Canelo had beaten him I would say it, I don't really care that much man...not enough to lie to myself lol.
So yeah if they fought again, and GGG employs a similar style to what he did in the first two fights, I think he would probably win....caveats being whether he is washed up, and if Canelo is improving/can adapt...would make for a good fight I think.
the main point here is "IMO"
its your opinion, and thats fine, thats the past. What we are discussing is how valid is a 3rd fight?
Do you think GGG can win a 3rd fight vs Canelo? with no * of fanboyish pre built excuses where "ggg cant win i vegas" blah blah blah.
Can GGG win a 3rd fight? and if so? what tells you he can?
His fight vs Vanes? who was retired for 2 years pior and at 154lber? or his fight vs rolls who wasnt even in the top 20? or his fight vs SD where he got worked over bad and where alot of people thought SD WON?
So what can you point at that says this is why I say GGG can beat Canelo is a 3rd fight?
cause you saying is "I BELIEVE GGG CAN WIN A 3rd FIGHT BECAUSE I BELIEVE IT"
I believe he can beat Canelo in a 3rd fight because I saw him beat him 8-4 twice, in pretty identical fashions.
If GGG boxes behind the jab I think he probably wins another 8-4 type decision...if he kind of abandons the jab like he did vs SD, he will probably lose.
So yeah in a neutral setting, with neutral judges etc, I think GGG could still beat Canelo, if he boxes behind the jab...but I don't think there will really be a neutral setting, and I don't know if he will box behind the jab.
Maybe one of them lands a good shot though and hurts the other one too, that would be entertaining.
Who’s the last decent fighter Canelo beat easily?
Oh yeah, no one.
I would pick Canelo but he never wins fights big unless his opponent is hit garbage.
Also...
Derevyanchenko would knock Kovalev out as would GGG.
I can't believe I am saying it...but I actually agree with the bold...Kov sadly just looked done in almost every sense of the word last night...GGG is probably fading too but at least he still has some pop it seems.
see this is what I dont like a boxing fans, "probably not..so if it is in Vegas Nelo would always win"
and you basing that off what? Your subjective opinions on how YOU SCORED THE FIGHT lol, do you not see the conflict of interest?
and of course Kovalev is a much harder fight than SD, Kovalev has alot more accolades and was the legit champ.
again you think GGG has 2 w's thats subjective and not reality.
Canelo is worth that money cause he deal is not contingent on any one particular fight unlike GGG contract that is contingent on a Canelo fight.
Canelo is entering his prime while GGG is out the door. Canelo pushed him out that door.
This is GGG career since Canelo
Canelo 1 - draw
Vanes (154 2 years retired) - W
Canelo 2 - L
Rolls (Ranked outside top 20 - W
SD (first lefit fight not canelo) - W
GGG is done.
We all have our biases man but yeah I can't see how anyone can score those fights as anything but a W for GGG...just as I can't see how anyone could give GGG 7 rounds vs SD...I gave him 6 and felt it was a fortunate 6 for him...only scored it 1 time though, vs the 10 times or so I have scored each Canelo-GGG fight.
And yeah bro come on...Kovalev was pretty clearly ahead last night before the KO, but it was a competitive fight...so Nelo will get the rounds in Vegas...he is the A-side, it is what it is, I don't really care...to beat the King you've got to KO him, so be it.
I just have to be honest...after seeing SD and Kovalev's last fights, I legit think SD is a tougher fight...Kovalev gassed so easily and GGG surely would have caught him with something big like that and put him down...he just didn't really look like a formidable challenger to me honestly...I like Canelo though and think he is great, but I think they knew what they were doing when they picked Kovalev...the odds and feeling of inevitability kind of just tell the story too.
GGG may well be done, I won't argue that...but a 3rd fight with Canelo just still makes too much sense, even if he is...it's still probably the biggest fight in boxing...and if Canelo fans hate GGG so much, why not fight him and KO him...why wouldn't you want that
Also yeah I don't think Canelo is worth $35 million per fight unless he is bringing in close to $70 million per fight...and he isn't doing those numbers unless it is vs GGG I think.
I think dazn cuts GGG once they realize that 3rd has 0 chance of happening, they only signed him for that 3rd fight, GGG didnt get that deal because of his self worth he got it because of his worth is attached to canelo, so if that 3rd dont happen I see them cutting him lose.
This is where we really differ cause I think Canelo will make easy work out of SD, SD is just a tenacious person that is open fro counter and Canelo counters are sharp where GGG counters are just there with alot of power.
Bottom line is this, the PERCEPTION OF the 3rd fight, NO ONE THINKS GGG CAN BEST CANELO, at GGG best all he was able to do is a draw, he has steady been declining and Canelo has been improving adding accolades to his resume meanwhile GGG has been fighting nothing but tune ups since canelo 1 and the first real fight he had other than canelo since canelo 1 he gets worked over bad. GGG has not done anything to make people believe he has a chance to beat Canelo.
Another way to put it...1 year ago GGG and Canelo fought and I was impressed with Canelo as I usually am...and still felt GGG won 8-4...I've watched that fight a number of times and the only way you can score it for Nelo imo is to ignore a lot of GGG's work.
That said, it is fair to wonder if GGG won the battle but lost the war...as in that fight could have taken more out of him than vice versa...I think it is very fair to wonder that.
But when I pretty clearly saw GGG win 8-4 1 year ago, why would anyone think Canelo would dominate him right now...he may, maybe GGG is starting to wash up...but again just 1 year ago they fought and GGG really outworked him almost every round.
I think dazn cuts GGG once they realize that 3rd has 0 chance of happening, they only signed him for that 3rd fight, GGG didnt get that deal because of his self worth he got it because of his worth is attached to canelo, so if that 3rd dont happen I see them cutting him lose.

Idk man I would still give him a legit chance to beat Nelo...KO him, probably not..so if it is in Vegas Nelo would always win...but yeah I don't think Kov at this time is actually a much tougher fight than SD...I just really don't after seeing those 2 performances.
And yeah officially GGG has a draw...but for me he has 2 Ws lol...so I would like to see a 3rd to see if Nelo can finally get a legit win on my card.
It is true that GGG's worth depends on Canelo...but Canelo isn't worth $35 million per fight either unless it is against GGG...that fight grossed $200 million total in the two fights, so no reason to think it wouldn't do about $100 million or so the third time...it is still probably the biggest money fight in boxing right now.
And yeah I think Canelo is peaking while GGG is starting to fade...but I felt GGG won fight two 8-4, so I would still give him a solid chance in fight 3, but would favor Nelo.
Again I don't thin Nelo's win this past May over Jacobs was more dominant than what GGG did to Jacobs, so even if GGG is declining and Canelo peaking, it should still be competitive...if one scores it fair anyway.
Its over with, no one believes GGG can compete with Canelo now, and GGG has dont nothing to disprove this notion.
Right now a 3rd fight is a charity case.
Also I doubt canelo comes back down to 160
Yeah I don't think it necessarily needs to be at 160...GGG is probably getting paid by DAZN regardless, they are the ones who really want the 3rd fight...will be interesting to see what happens, and what they do with GGG if Canelo really doesn't want to do it a 3rd time.
I would favor Nelo, but as mentioned, I don't think Canelo would have done necessarily much better vs SD than GGG did, and vice versa with Nelo vs Kov...Nelo beat Jacobs 7-5 for example on my card, while I had GGG 8-4 with the KD (could see 7-5 there I suppose).
So yeah would favor Nelo in the 3rd fight but it may not be as straightforward as you think.
that 3rd fight isnt even a intriguing fight at the moment, Canelo is another different league that GGG will never reach.
GGG just needs the right PEDs ;)
But seriously Nelo looks good, but a 3rd fight would still give some finality to the rivalry...many, myself included, feel GGG won both...so why not a 3rd one to try and provide some sort of conclusive winner...they made for 2 entertaining fights...the KO last night turned some heads (mainly Kov's) but action wise the 2 GGG fights were much better imo.
I think you have to favor Nelo...I think Derevychenko could have given Canelo a tough fight though, and Kov looked not that great, so GGG could have done similar vs him last night...point being that I don't think those two performances from them in their last 2 fights are so different...but Canelo is certainly improving almost every fight, and GGG, well he is 37 and isn't getting any younger.
I don’t even think there are many GGG fans who’ll dispute that now. And if GGG wants the fight he’ll have to come up to 168. It’s still a huge fight and people want to see it. Maybe late 2020 IMO.
at 160... in Kazakhstan... or I will get Loeffler to say you are ducking
heh, works every time

Canelo beats GGG easy 3rd time
