Totally agree with this. 90% of Kovalev's jabs were missing. I had it 7-3 Canelo, though some of those rounds were very close, but closest I could see would be 5-5, but I feel Canelo should have been at least 6-4 up at time of stoppage. Lol it was exactly 7-3 Canelo. These clowns don’t know what the hell they’re watching. Forget forum discussions. I want to sit down with a couple of these so called boxing fans and judge this fight round by round, in person, so that they can point out to me what is it that they’re seeing and what punch or punches are winning Kovalev the rounds. I also think it would be funny to see them struggling to find where in the round is Kovalev landing anything of note, and seeing them try to ignore Canelo’s shots. Like I want to see their faces while they’re struggling.

Thank god Canelo got the knock out then. I can't stand when every close fight poster will call robbery one way or the other.

I sincerely watched the fight objectively, no real regard for one fighter or the other If anything probably leaned a very slight bit in Canelo direction. And thought Kovalev was comfortably leading until the KO. I also though Derevyanchenko beat GGG as well.

I had Kovalev comfortably ahead but he seemed gassed like he has been in recent late rounds of his fights. His stamina seems to be lacking. Canelo did what he needed to do to get the win. It's good he didn't let it go to the cards.

Called it, Kovalev would be drained and get KO'd late in the fight. Was even more confident of this when it was confirmed that there were re-hydration clauses in effect. Those cards are closer than I thought they would be for a Canelo fight. Still clearly wrong but I was expecting the judges in Golden boys pockets to have Canelo up by 4 or 5 rounds.

Kovalev was losing the fight backing up to the much smaller man and all the punches he threw were hitting gloves or air. Canelo pushing him back landing more and more importantly landing the cleaner harder shots. His face was all red and those shots wore him down and he was iced. Clean shots > pitty pat jabs missing hitting gloves. Clean and effective punching > volume nothing landing punches. But canelo iced him so we don't have to hear y'all bytches complain about canelo winning a decision because he made another so called killer look scared and ordinary again. Put that respect on canelo's name and stop hating like bitter females

This wasn't Kovalev being screwed by the cards. I had it 5-5 heading into the 10th round. Rounds wise the fight was close but Canelo was the boss in the ring as he was landing the sharper and harder shots and the only one committing to his shots.

I gave Kovalev 2 rds maybe 3 .

I had it Kovalev 9-1 he’s shot to pieces though his punch resistance is gone.

What fight were you guys watching that are saying Kovalev was clear.y winning? I had it even though 10 with 2 swing rounds that I gave 1 to each guy. Kovalev got pushed around by a guy who moved up 2 weight classes. He was scared of the counter shot all night and didn't land hardly any good shots all night because he never threw any.

I don't really agree that all those jabs were hitting Canelo's guard...a lot were...but a lot got through as well...good fight, clear winner...odd ending but we move on to the next one
