Didn't score it round for round, but had Prograis winning like the first 4-5 easy, taylor came on afterwards and Regis closed out a lot better. Round for round, I probably have it for Prograis or a draw, but my mistake not scoring it. Taylor missed a lot more than commentary or crowd implied.
Really good fight. Taylor is sh4t tho, hitting after the bell on 3 occasions and he folded in the end and started holding like a proper h0e, as if all the leaning on Regis wasn't enough. Ref should've deducted a point after the 2nd time Taylor hit after the bell.
Prograis lost clearly. He was too ****y, talks like he is something special, and went into the fight overconfident. You can tell that he thought taylor would fold, but taylor outboxed him and had more heart.
it was not close in my eyes also up until 10 , the las 2 rounds i gave to prograis and i still had it 7-5 taylor
Same here. I do think the fight was close, as in a lot of rounds were close, but I was trying to stay true to what I was seeing which was Taylor edging most of them.
No robbery, Taylor had more willingness to win and Prograis didn’t...simple!
Taylor missed lots of punches but also landed lots of punches!
Regis landed the harder shots but they were very few and far between!
I was yelling at my tv on how Regis everytime he had Taylor hurt he would let him off the hook or made Josh miss and just stopped to admire his work too much!
This was a tale about one man willing himself to do more work and his willingness to do what it takes to win!
Their skills cancelled each other out and bodywork was even with a slight edge to Rougarou!
The Tartan Tornado just wanted it more!
I’ll tell you what, if Regis can do what he was doing in the 11th and 12th starting in round 1 of this fight or a rematch we would be hearing him as the winner cuz whenever he walked forward and let his hands go he was hurting Taylor and punishing him!
I must have had a bad night scoring because I didn't have it close at all. I thought there were a lot of close rounds, but in my eyes Taylor seemed to be edging most of them.
I will rewatch at some point.

NO he wasn't! 7-5 either way was fine with Me
I felt like Taylor dug deeper, pushed Prograis around on the inside and out-worked him. Looked sharp early in the fight making Taylor miss repeatedly BUT where was the Follow Ups? The Counters? I know some fighters make it look easy but it is not, that Timing and Reflexes are a GIFT, it is not something you just learn all of a sudden
Prograis has the reflexes Defensively but lack to timing to make his opponents pay after he makes them miss instead he stays in that shell and look to make them miss more. Also looked like he just gassed especially after his knows was busted
Credit to Taylor, he outworked him on the inside and used that size by Clinching and leaning on him
Boxing Fans gotta stop discrediting fighters, give credit and respect to both Warriors and we're on to what is next for both. For Taylor, unification with Ramirez of course and as for Prograis stay at 140 and work his way back up
I would love to see Taylor vs Prograis II in the future, it was a good and close fight. Still would love to see Prograis vs Broner, the build up would be classic.
117-112? A perfect score?
Ok, Adelaide.
I don't think it was a robbery. Close fight, in New Orleans Porgrais wins. In London, Taylor.
That's it.
In new orleans a draw. Anywhere else taylor won that fight
I thought Prograis had the first half Taylor the second half of the fight. I thought it was a 114-114 115-113 type fight. It definitely wasn't a 117-112 type fight.
Yeah draw or 115-113 for either is all I could see realistically. 117-112 too wide.

Close fight, wrong decision.
Could see a draw or Prograis by a round, but he didn't steamroll him, and Taylor was coming on around the 7th & 8th. I think Regis won cause Taylor was missing shots, both fought well though.
US fighters have to go for the KO or they'll be subject to this.
It’s the same for foreign fighters over here. In fact it’s not. Taylor won clearly. In America fighters win fights because of geography even when they lose.

As far as rounds go there was one or two in it, but as far as the flow it of the fight, Taylor had him hurt. Fight of two halves ...
