I found out there is a big boxing community on youtube, but it seems to be dominated by people who believe American boxing is pro-white, and pro-eastern european specifically, and against black American fighters. For example. https://youtu.be/Zu0_EjGUMEI?t=161

Idiots! Effin Reverse Racists trying to start crapp.
I love great boxers no matter the skin color OR country of origin ----KNOCK IT OFF WITH THE RACE BAITING.
Huh? So you like your racism, but only in moderation?
If a white guy roots for a fighter because they're white, thats racism, same for any other race.
If you support for a fighter because they're from your country against another country's fighter, that is xenophobia.
At least understand and admit it, if you tick those boxes you're a racism or xenophobe.
If you support some (and by definition prejudice others) because of factors neither you or they have any control over, instead of individual characteristics like skill, toughness, resolve or bravery you need to take a good long look in the mirror. Maybe give yourself an uppercut while you're there.
You sound ignorant of the reality of the world. In an ideal world, I agree. If you are already a racist, I'd rather you be less racist to me. That's how it works. White racism is everywhere.
But thats America for you. Its just inherently racist, and that goes for all colours and creeds. America us just a very racist country that trys to act like the most diverse.
I'd say that's the UK: they believe in monarchy and having colonies, like a herd. How stupid is that? I've always associated Britain and Europe with the most extreme racist, colonial mentality in the world (despite what some say).
The colonists have even made and continue to make enemies for blacks in many Asian countries, where I lived, where they are harshly discriminated against. Fuck, don't even start me on that.
All I know is HBO went under chasing after the next European star. They put everything into Triple G and Kovalev and once they lost HBO struggled. Now ESPN had Crawford a top 3 fighter who just needed to be promoted. Instead they go get Fury who cant and Loma who don't sell tickets either. So they do keep trying to prop these European fighters.
You can root for your color, but in moderation, always. Balance is key. Don't disrespect others is rule #1.

Its not a colour thing its a country thing. White, black, what ever, the vast majority of hate for Loma is coming out of America, most the hate for most none American Boxers comes from Americans. In general Americans are just strange and feel to be pro anything you have to be anti the other thing.

Yes, all of those white nationalist Americans are cheering for a European born in Communist Ukraine.
I was gonna comment on that too. Thanks Rexy. I think he meant "racist."

Boxing is very race related. It’s not like a team. You’re going to root for who ever you can relate to the most. If that’s color, there’s nothing wrong with that. We do that naturally.
What is unnatural is the racism, race baiting, prejudice and targeting a group of people due to their race/background.
My first favorite fighters were Julio Cesar Chavez and De La Hoya in the 90s. I related to them. Whitish skin color, “good” hair, Latino, and spoke Spanish. Their features were like mine. I also liked Tyson, Holyfield, Trinidad, Lewis even though their appearance were black. They were not my favorites but I liked them. Then Roy Jones and Jermain Taylor became faves, Hopkins did too. I liked Joe Calzaghe when I learned of him in 2005, he also became a favorite.
Then I remembered how it was posting in this environment. It was pretty bad, a lot of racism. Boxingscene posters were all about colors. People thought I was black because I liked Mayweather. Got racist red k messages. As a 17 year old kid, I had not been exposed to such racism yet. In NYC there’s all kinds of people. So colors was nothing to me. But holy sht was it bad here. It really opened my eyes to how prejudice white people are if given anonymity. It’s not something I ever encounter in person, ever. Not even in a red state like Ohio. This is strictly an anonymous thing. Give them a mask and comfort of them knowing they will not be exposed and they will show you who they really are.
Boxingscene is still the same as it was when I joined, as far as the people who post here. It is more moderated though.
Nothing wrong with a white boxing fan liking Lomachenko because he’s a good white boxer and you have closely matched physical features. That’s NATURAL, and it’s okay, you’re not racist because if this. It’s wrong to not like Wilder, or Spence, or Crawford because they’re black, and hate their fans because they’re black, or because you assume they’re black. That’s racist.
What would we talk about if we didn't talk about the color we were born with?
You can root for your color, but in moderation, always. Balance is key. Don't disrespect others is rule #1.
The original White nationalist don’t like commies, they consider them untrustworthy and arrogant bastàrds who have taken their jobs!
They especially don’t like commies who’ve taken over another country like Ukraine so they would despise Loma even more!
What your talking about is modern white nationalist!
PBC should keep it to one champion one division. No modification or honorary shit. Everyone will fight whomever is ranked #2, no duckings of any kind, or you are out.
Premier Boxing Champions is a great name for belts too. Make your belts. Don't ever mess up: no favoritism, or your ass is out. One champion one division.
This is one of the first times I ever mention PBC. I don't really give a crap about the way they are right now, with great young fighters rotting on their crappy shelves. They need a vision.
Maybe the guy in the video can lead them!

I like this guy in the video. I agree with him completely. The truth can't be hidden forever. Lomachenko hasn't really proven anything in pro boxing. All these trinkets are garbage.
Black fighters, Haymon, Floyd should give this guy a good job. Maybe a spokesperson for PBC? He's not a racist, either, since he has some good things to say about Dana "The Scumbag" White.
My thoughts match his a lot.
I'm not white but I think Lomachenko is an incredible fighter. From a technical boxing stand point I like the angles he creates, the combinations he puts together, and his dirty little tricks he gets away with. Hes almost a perfect fighter except he doesnt have the physique or stature to be a force in the higher weight categories. That is the only problem I have but it is not a problem he can do anything about. I like Beterbiev and Bivol and Sanjarbek Rakhmanov. I'm watching Nikita Ababiy mature in the sport even though hes an american amateur of Russian descent. If you love boxing and boxers, you like the styles that you admire no matter what race they are. Eastern Europeans have worked hard to get to where they are in the sport but dont listen to people searching for the "Great White Hope". That thinking still exists for reasons only the devil knows.
