I say Davis based of what we seen so far both still need a A fighter on resume but Davis looks more dangerous imo.
If he were fighting Commey I'd pick him but with Lopez I'm really unsure.
Against whom was he proven? Which A fighter has he fought? Russell is his best win and, at his best, Russell was a B.
Walter's was boogeyman of division at time of his loss Linares was ranked top 2 at 135. Rusell is B lvl but still a top win for any one at feather. An Rigendoux was small but I'd pick him over many fighters at 126 and 130 right now.
Why won't Davis and Floyd try to fight Lopez? Why are they totally silent on making Davis vs Lopez? Be a great chance to hurt Arum's business right?
I will tell you why. Floyd and Davis are fraudsters, they know Davis is nothing but a protected pretender who would be destroyed by Lopez.
Should be the other way around. Isn’t TR the best promotion company in boxing? And they have the backing of the biggest sports network in America. Shouldn’t Arum be putting pressure on Floyd and Tank? Not the other way around.
Loma is A lvl proven the dude is p4p 1 if not top 3 easy how is that not A level.

If you had to make a bet right now, you'd be placing your money on Tank.
We'll see what the Commey fight shows us about Lopez.
We haven't seen the peak or the limits of either fighter yet. Tank has fought at a higher level, has actual title experience, so has gone further on that journey.
Both of them have shown signs of being mentally a bit fragile. Tank being rattled by the idea of fighting Loma, and Lopez by fighting a tall fighter that he couldn't dominate. Lopez's mentality is much more of a concern. Tank not wanting to get thrown in with the P4P best just yet isn't anywhere near as bad as Lopez's mindset when he was faced with a bit of adversity.
If it came down to a battle of wills, then Tank would win. If it comes down to experience, then Tank would win. We don't know what either fighter's peaks are yet, but we know that Tank has the better wins.
You'd have to back Tank. That's all there is to it.
Going with Tank, after the comney fight we might know what level Lopez is at. Davis is going to be a monster but only if they let him loose, not sure why they are protecting him right now. Unless they know something that we do not know about him. Maybe am overrating him.
Lopez is a very large LW. Should really be fighting at 140 now. Davis is a better boxer IMO, but Lopez is stronger. It would be a matter of who is more durable in the later rounds. Can Tank muster up an effective inside game, attack the body? He would likely be the better counter-puncher of the two, he just has to remain on the inside.

- -Is Davie grrl still pregnant with child?
Who has an "A" fighter on their resume at lightweight or in all boxing? Maybe only the Pacman? None?
These guys, Davis, Lopez, Loma, Haney, etc., aren't themselves true "A" fighters yet. They have a potential.
You must throw the word "Great" and the letter "A" around easily. They all still need to prove themselves, and this is the chance for all to fight each other.

Davis is a protected fraud. Haymon has no confidence in Davis to make the fight with Arum and Lopez. Haymon is 1-13 vs Arum and he won't dare go to 1-14.
Haymon's only win vs Arum was the Floyd vs Pac fix which Haymon rigged the judges in Vegas.
Lopez KO Davis easy work.
Davis only fights in house patsies hired and paid off by Haymon and Floyd.
:lol1::lol1:
he should take a stay-busy fight like fighting a 38 year old shot fighter.
I wish he did that, to stay busy and sharp. The lightweight division isn't the same anymore. No more cans like Crolla, Campbell, and Linares.
Bro, Rigo was as old as Gamboa and half Loma's size.

This will be Gervonta's hardest fight in the lightweight division. That includes Lomachenko. I can see Lopez handling the body specialty of Davis better than Loma.
What's Loma gonna do between now and his fight against Lopez? Commey has a little chance. Will he sit out till then?
