Im among the biggest Fury fans on this site I think, but you might got more faith in him then I do with a successful reign after getting some real belts. I think he will f#ck the belts one way or another. Idk that hes comfortable with too much success. I think he likes the struggle more then the W that comes when you finally beat down the struggle.
So if Fury beats Wilder once or twice Id beat he self destructs again sooner or later. Something will go down thatll get that going I bet.
If you believe that then you never really believed he came back from his low points and battled his demons and succeeded.
You do you, but I'm the type of man to give someone the benefit of the doubt.
I rate Fury highly because I see no real flaws in him and don't think anyone can really push him to the brink. I've also been boxing for over a decade and have been watching for about the same time and have more confidence in my own eye test than any bookies, writers, or trainers opinion, that isn't my trainers opinion, and I don't need to see a fighter beat "a name" to believe they have the goods, as you know by now. I know fights don't happen for a multitude of reasons, and while I will raise the stock of a fighter for a signature win, I won't drop his stock if he doesn't get a signature fight, or a fair decision in a signature fight that doesn't go their way objectively.
I want to see him challenged but I see no name from Wilder to Usyk that will really force a life and death fight with him.
Good point. All this WWE sh^t gots me all f#cked up. If Fury beats Wilder in Feb. who knows wtf might go down. Fury might fight Tyrone Spong next & leave Andy or AJ with their dicks out wondering wtf just happened.
Although come to think of it isnt there going to be a 3rd fight in 2020 too so AJ or Andy isnt likely to get the winner til late 2020 or 2021.
I like the idea of Fury winning a belt because he will then be put in positions where he has to defend his title against fighters he might not otherwise face yet.
Also we don't know how the rematch might end, even if Fury wins, it might not be without controversy (i.e. JMM/Pac) so a trilogy might be demanded.
I would love for Fury to build a hit list and throw on it: Usyk, Ruiz, Povetkin, Miller, AJ, and Parker.
the IBF and the WBO were going to play nice until recently. What happened?
That's what I want answered too. Hearn says they'd lose a belt and everyone is just running with it like it's fact.
They take turns don't they? And if Joshua wins he surely gets 12 months anyway?
USYK don’t want that type of smoke 💨 right now
Usyk needs more fights to get rust off and adapt to HW . Eventually one of those fights will bring best out of him
Wilder has Fury problems.
I say the winner fights Usyk, all balls.
Either or is fine. I think wilder would forgo the fury rematch for a chance to be undisputed tho. Usyk may be mandatory because of the wbo rules, but he hasn’t exactly earned it.
