Golovkin is old, Kovalev is old...so you guys are looking for a new Soviet to hate on because he threatens your favourite fighters?
How pathetic. Usyk looked the same as he always did. Have you guys actually seen any of Usyk's fights?
He schools and outboxes his opponents when he wants to and sometimes goes for the KO. That's exactly what he did in this fight. The only difference is that he is a bit more conservative with his punches now and defensively orientated. He went for the KO in the last round and made his opponent quit in the corner. He walked a man down who was about 30lbs bigger to me. I saw nothing you could hate on.
So why is there this new found hate? I've seen idiots say he is clout chasing Wilder when Usyk has a way better resume than him. Usyk has proven he wants to fight the best and that's why he is calling out Wilder, he wants to become world champion at Heavyweight and prove people wrong. Don't forget he won every belt at Cruiserweight in his opponents backyard.
I think it's simply because of fear. People, especially Wilder fans, are afraid for him. They are afraid he might school Wilder for 12 rounds or beat Joshua/Ruiz. So they try to downplay him like he is not a threat, even when he does everything right in his Heavyweight debut.
These guys are not boxing fans, they are groupies. Y'all make me sick.
You are over exaggerating and crating a false narrative to justify your position against Wilder, Haymon and PBC.
You’re hatred of black fighters and PBC is not because Eastern Europeans fighters get hate from black fans. Stop trying to pass this off as your reasoning.
Saying he is using Wilder’s name is plausible. That is criticizing his call out, not him as a fighter.
Saying he isn’t a threat because he might not be able to handle the power of heavyweights is fair as well.
Every criticism of a Russian or eastern European boxer isn’t hate.
Usyk isn’t well known so there is no reason to make it seem like he is the hot topic for discussion. Most that have seen him give him credit for his talent.
Who exactly hated on Usyk?
Oh I hate black fighters now because I dislike Wilder? Gtfoh. You know nothing about me. Very cheap
If you take a look in the thread here and even on Boxingscene itself here...you can see tons of people hating on the guy because they live vicariously through Wilder.
Criticism isn't hate, I agree. But when it's based on nothing, it is.
People blatantly lying about Usyk that he went life and death with Chazz, is easy to hit, was exposed, not a threat, would've gotten schooled by Takam (ridiculous), is a hypejob, hasn't beaten anyone...is absolutely ridiculous. When he just won every round Vs this dude and made him quit
I never even mentioned race. I think it's just because they are a bunch of big Widler fangirls that are trying to pretend Usyk isn't worthy so Wilder can duck.

Are you stupid?
I says, maybe y'all over hype yer EEs on account of both the other dudes mentioned lost.
You says, robbed.
I says, youse a *****.
You says , I'm a confused ***** actually.
Then I recap the very simple narrative that's taken place.
Here we are.
English isn't even my first language, but you type like a rétard
Usyk is a big problem for any of the top HW’s IMO.
I don’t buy into the Wilder call out though, we all know he’s going the WBO route, he should be calling out Ruiz/AJ, cause then it will look really bad if they vacate to fight Pulev.
I think it's perfectly fine when you consider someone like Usyk would be the best win on Wilders resume...
Did Breazeale deserve a shot? Nope. Did Stiverne deserve a shot in that rematch? Hell no. If these guys are getting title shots people should have no problem with Usyk getting one. They aren't bending the rules for anyone.
Yes they are, they are bending them for Wilder if anyone. Dude is a clown and he's being protected from AJ. Why are they fighting a 50+ year old grandpa they already KO'd before instead of a legit challenge? He's being protected at all costs.
They thought they would skate easy with a Fury cherrypick but it was a cherrypick gone wrong. Now they have to figure out a way to avoid Fury, AJ, and then you go and through Usyk in the mix too. His management and online shill team are being backed into a corner......about time for Wilder to catch a serious training injury in hopes that one of these three will be out of the mix by the time he recovers.......taking a page from clenela's book.
All the same, east Europeans are hated there.
Sounds kinda like our leftwing politicians doesn't it? Maybe because the same people giving them their talking points have people on the payroll who have accounts here?
Keep that division going, keeping the racism talks in the forefront. Shills abound, smh.
:lol1: Sure, hype them into a loss, then, cry a river. :lol1:
Because on both ends, both when assessing talent and when judging a fight, y'all love to go out of your way to shout all about how you don't know boxing very well and despite having been forum members for years still carry casual misconceptions. :nana:
What are you even talking about?
Do you have nightmares about Usyk or something? Deontay probably has
Maybe it's because y'all hype them into a loss? Maybe Usyk's really on the Krusher-3G path and when he hits his analog for Canelo-Ward he'll crumble?
So you saying he will get robbed Vs an AJ or Wilder on the cards? Yeah makes sense

Honestly there is always hate, but there is also constructive criticism...I was a little bit underwhelmed with his performance, but I honestly never expected him to be the top dog at heavyweight, for me even before the fight I expected him to land somewhere around Parker, Whyte level. This fight somewhat confirmed that opinion to me, but at the same time let's see how he progresses. There is no need to overreact to one performance, but at the same time, if you are objective...there are definitely some weaknesses in his performance, and they were there against Bellew also, I think these can cause him problems as he steps up.
He def has some problems to overcome in this division, namely his ability to close distance, and his power. At cruiserweight, they couldn't stand in front of him or continuously outbox him, I think most of the top guys at heavyweight will be able to stand in front of him, someone like Ruiz will be able to soak it up, fire back and has a great engine too , will Usyk be able to step round him and score without getting clipped? Fight under pressure from a bigger man? His problem against Fury and Joshua is def the fact those guys can box, are strong, and athletic. With Wilder it's about closing the distance and avoiding the right hand...one hell of a task.
I think what you need to do is ignore the hate and separate that from the posters who are offering constructive criticism
Always the same ****. They say GGG is bad and Canelo is a superstar boxer because he barely beat GGG ( who is bad, lol.).
Now they are hyping Kovalev because he fights Canelo next.
If Canelo beats Kovalev ( not likely), they will keep saying Kovalev sux.

I don't care who is the best in Wilder's resume, in fact. His resume is very poor overall.
Neither Breazeale nor Stiverne deserved it, true. But in my world there is also no place for Usyk (or whomever else goes a category higher) having a title shot in his first fight in his new category.
One more for you.
The poster Mushroom gives Usyk credit for having freakish ability at cruiserweight. But he simply wasn't as impressed yesterday.
"He’s going to struggle in the division imo. He’s definitely lost some speed and movement he didn’t look nearly as freakish as he did at CW"
That's a fair post. That isn't hating. Saying stuff like "LMAO he is easy to hit, told you so!" Is simply not true and childish hate when the guy won every round, barely got hit and made his opponent quit. I personally thought he looked fine
He is an AJ fanboy. Make of that what you will

Robbie Barrett is another poster who seems to agree with BangEM's analysis. Is it hating or did they both just happen to observe the same flaw?
"I made a thread a few years ago saying Usyk is too easy to hit to become a top HW. Can't find it because of Boxingscenes crap search function though."

By the same token when guys like BangEM make comments like the one below it isn't necessarily to hate on Usyk. It is just opinion based on what he saw against Witherspoon. He might be right.
"LMAO. I'm back again. I told you lot Usyk is overrated - he gets hit too easily and he isn't great at anything. Yes, he has decent footwork but his biggest weapon is his workrate and late burst in fight. And it showed yesterday in that fight."

That's just opinion, Usyk isn't saying that to hate on the guy. He sees Wilder is the least skilled of the top guys so he sees that as his easiest fight. He might be right
