That's a good point. The NFL won't let any of their blue chip prospects box and play football. mitchell was not a world class football player...he didnt play past college....which means he couldnt cut it at the top level...same with a guy like gerald washington...they played high level collegiate football....theres is a big difference though from that and the NFL...in college there might be 2-3 guys on average good enough to play in the NFL in a game between two teams....some of the top ranked teams playing each other will have more...but on average maybe 2-3 guys the NFL has a ton of guys, that if they trained from an early age to box, would be very good and likely world champs the guy in that picture there, broderick bunkley, was a huge bust...high draft pick but was never good in the NFL That's a good point. Why? Is a big neck supposed to make you knock out proof? It doesn't. It might help a little but a guy can have a huge neck and still have a glass jaw. Look at the boxers who have never been knocked down. They usually have strong normal sized necks.
