I see a lot of people saying that prime Floyd & Manny are leagues above the other current welterweights but how about other former welterweights like Mosley, De La Hoya, Cotto, Marquez, Bradley, Williams etc.
Do you see Spence, Thurman, Porter, Crawford & Danny Garcia beating any of those fighters?
The old saying. Styles make fights. Depends on what era and peak.
When Danny beat Lucas M. Everybody was on his nutsack. Same with Keith after beating Danny and Porter.
People grow appreciation when they’re no longer fighting and the older fighters.
Everyone’s guess
I Wouldn’t rule out the new generation on beating the old if fought same era.
I would take Marquez off the list. too small.
I like Bradley and Bud better at 140

Marquez?
lmao Marquez was never **** at welter
he was a one hit wonder thanks to KO6, and that's it
which he achieved only after 3 tries, PEDs and a lucky punch
any of the current top welters beat midget Marquez just like Bradley did
I see Crawford and Spence beating Bradley
a prime DLH, Cotto and Mosley, all of them would dominate the current top welters
They beat old versions of that fighters. Which means 35 years old Cotto, 40 years old Mosley and 35 years old de la Hoya. prime versions - no chance.
Except Pacquiao of course, he beat prime Cotto.
no... he did not
Cotto was at the lowest point in his career... and he was drained
it is highly amusing that you took time to add that inaccurate footnote
Crawford beats them all but not a prime Oscar not sure about Cotto, tough one.
Spence would beat Williams he had terrible issues vs southpaws I want to say he beats Bradley also but imo Bradley is kinda a better version of Porter really.
I'd favour Williams but could see Danny putting him out cold also.
Thurman could maybe edge Marquez if he fought the perfect fight.
I don't see Porter beating any and probably not Danny either hell none of them might but Crawford.
No Roberto Duran said which I listened too Todays fighters are not as good the best don’t fight the best they only care about keeping a zero while trying to make as much money as they can . Worse fighters better money is what he said at the end the tape It’s on YouTube but in Spanish
Do they "even" beat certified HOFs?
Who is this chucklehead.
Because no one hardly mentions them in fantasy matchups against the current too welterweights. Usually it’s comparisons with prime Manny & Floyd where they’re looked at as levels above.

Do you see Spence, Thurman, Porter, Crawford & Danny Garcia beating any of those fighters?Nobody knows for sure because they can't actually fight. Everybody just makes their best guess and that is all it is. Just a guess. Just an opinion and not a fact at all. The longer a boxer has been retired the better they seem to get in most people's imagination. These current champions can only fight the best of today. They can't fight these long retired good boxers from the past. Every time a modern boxer has a win here come the threads of all the past boxers who would beat him. Spence just won a hard fight some here come all the long retired welterweights to kick his ass in fantasy fights. I am high on Spence. I don't think any welterweight fighting now can beat him. A prime Floyd, Manny, Mosley or Oscar might beat him but maybe he beats them. I think Spence easily beats Bradley and beats Cotto, Marquez and Williams at 147. Just my opinion and just a guess like everyone else.

I think Crawford would fare well against a Marquez and give Cotto problems as guys with length were bad matchups for him.
Outside of that this current group of champs are a step below.
