Deontay Wilder turned down 100 million Dollars and the fight he wanted the most, all of us wanted the most, the Joshua fight and he did it out of loyalty to Stephen Espinoza and Showtime. This isnt BS he actually made it very clear by saying it pretty much word for word how i put it. He talked about how Stephen and Showtime were there for him and have got him to where he is today and so he feels obligated to repay their investment in him with some loyalty to them. Seemed a bit crazy to me to turn down so much money and turn down the undisputed fight out of loyalty to a network but at the same time i found something quite heart warming and honourable about it.
YET 1 FIGHT LATER he is binning them off for a Fox PPV? Espinoza over paid Wilder big time in the Breazeale fight because of what DAZN offered and it was still only half of the new network offer and claimed that he was happy to take a financial hit to repay Wilder for his loyalty. But Wilder v Ortiz 2 is going to be on FOX PPV. Espinoza and Showtime invested in Wilder in the Breazeale fight to keep him loyal to them.
Some loyalty, he turned down AJ and 100 million out of loyalty then 1 fight later forgot all about that loyalty. The more i read, the more i hear the more it becomes clear that Wilder has ducked Anthony Joshua.
Loyalty my ass. DUCK more like. There is clearly no loyalty towards Espinoza or Showtime. I keep saying this over and over, Team Wilder, the PBC, the LDBC all keep coming out with excuses as to why Wilder cant take the Joshua fight but each and every time it is only a matter of time before everything that has been said by Team Wilder, PBC and LDBC is proven wrong, time and time and time again. Time always uncovers their lies and BS excuses.
Showtime has been overpaying Wilder and spending millions of $$$$ promoting him just to show they can compete with DAZN.
Of course, putting all your eggs in one basket is leaving the other baskets empty.
Meaning, they're not able to produce more meaningful cards on a regular basis.
Counter who DAZN What the **** are you talking about ? Wilder v Breazeale and AJ v Miller were the next fights Wilder was offered a network deal by DAZN what's there to counter offer
AJ was offered 10M more to fight Wilder on showtime than what was Wilder was offered by DAZN which wasn't even guaranteed
Oh yeah that 50 million offer where they refused to tell Hearn or AJ any of the details or terms or conditions when they asked for them. Still hiding behing that thing i see.
Wilders handlers clearly dont want that fight. Only people it is no longer apparent to is PBC junkies like yourself cuz you were dumb enough to fall for Haymon and PBC is Pro black BS.
Did they counter that offer with anything at all or not?

He turned it down because he knew he would lose to Joshua, after Fury schooled him for 12 rounds we all know that Joshua would beat him and of course ruiz would batter him too...his best victory is against 58 year old ortiz who btw nearly finished him lol
You want them to counter who? They already offered AJ more than what DAZN offered Wilder which was 4 fight deal with 20M guaranteed according to Chris Mannix meaning only the Breazeale purse was guaranteed and if Wilder wins than another 40M opens up for the first AJ fight
That 40M would never materialized because AJ got knocked the **** out and DAZN never actually got the chance to make an offer for direct match for Wilder v AJ
Did they counter that offer with anything at all or not?
Why did Al Haymon advise Wilder to NOT take those fights? And why did Al Haymon or Shirley Winkle not set upon creating a counter offer? If they turn down an offer and refuse to counter it what other conclusions can we come to other than they clearly did not want that fight?

Now if someone makes a thread about the 50 mil offer they either gonna say it was fake or Complain about counting aj money but I swear every other thread is about wilders pockets he’s not hurting .. so why do people care. It’s sad im 23 I come here too read history of boxing or just intellectual conversations about boxing . But no it’s a bunch of grown men on here talking about the same mans money day and night.. and ps no one is in this thread because the past 2 years all you UK mofos love too talk about is money but not aj losing too the second coming of butterbean lls
Is this like Joshua's loyalty to his UK fans by making sure the Ruiz rematch is at Wembley?
No, its nothing like that. Thats not even remotely similar. I see no Wilder or PBC fans want to bother with this one, just skirt around it with smarmy comments that dont really add anything.
They think we forget, they think we are like the casuals who dont take too much interest and who are prepared to read the loudest headline lies. They think when enough time has passed they can lie about the facts cuz we wont of remembered what was said or offered. We we dont forget. This is the internet and everything stays there.
How many excuses for Wilder's ducking have those morons come up with now?
As many as Wilder himself had for getting schooled by Fury?
"Deontay would have signed to fight AJ on DAZN, but he couldn't pick up his pen cus Eddie Hearn had covered it with baby oil .."
I remember exactly what they said about the DAZN offer, they wanted to be told what Joshua was earning and the fight makes more money on PPV. Why did they not counter the DAZN offer with an offer to put the fight on PPV? Why did they then talk about being able to fill Wilders calendar with in house fights and just walk away from a fight they claimed they wanted?
Its all good and fine calling me stupid but id rather you spent your energy telling me why they didnt even bother to counter offer something they claimed they would make more money doing and it was about the money cuz they said so. Or do both, tell me why they just walked off with no interest in making that fight AND call me stupid. But dont just call me stupid and ignore what im even typing cuz that gives me the impression you have not got a valid or acceptable response to it.
Didn't they make the first offer of $50 Million to AJ...Oh Right "They" Told It That Wasn't Real Right :lol1:
:dunno:
Based on your threads and post...yeah I do believe you're that f#cking stupid to think it is strictly about AJ and not about the Verbiage of the Contract and what was in that contract...A Contract YOU/WE did not get to see or read
It had ZERO to do with AJ as far as turning down the Deal...it was clearly a BAD DEAL and again based on how the Ruiz rematch played out I would say yeah Wilder Dodged a Bullet for sure. Yeah for us, absolute we would jump as signing for at Flat $20 Million with no hesitation or second thought. However, again when you're dealing with Experienced guys like Haymon and Finkle who are not impressed by that number and they know how much money a big boxing event can really generated...$20 Million flat will not impress them at all
But hey...never mind commons sense right, for you it is about "Wilder Is Afraid Of AJ" that Narrative is what you want to believe
This goes BEYOND just the match up itself IN THE RING!

Ive never said they dont know what they are doing. They know exactly what they are doing, they are ducking Anthony joshua. The PBC and Showtime or Fox are different things.
If you take all the money out of the equation what are we left with? Wilder turning down fights with Joshua.

Based on how things played out...not only was the right move made from Wilder but he was SAVED from a AWFUL DEAL now looking at things and look at how this Ruiz rematch things played out
Wilder is making is money and is going to continue to make his money, this obsession about his money from fans who probably barely have money of their own is kinda laughable. Unless your Financially Successful yourself...Please STFU about Wilder Money and what he should or shouldn't do
Who the F#CK are any of us to try and tell guys who have made multi fighters Millionaires that "They Don't Know What They're Doing" when Financially most fans are Blue-Collar Worker (nothing wrong with it at all by the way) barely getting by but yet have a lot of say about boxers who are making MILLIONS upon MILLIONS every time they step into the ring
So yeah STFU, it doesn't matter who the F#CK Wilder is loyalty that is HIS BUSINESS and it doesn't effect you in anyway. Wilder is not struggling and will not be struggling financially anytime soon but can all fans say the same? Absolute Not!
Shelly Finkle, Al Haymon these guys have made many boxers MILLIONAIRES, they know WTF they're doing...I say the same for Bob Arum, Eddie and Barry Hearn and others. While SOME Fans we THINK we have the answers for these fighters when in actuality...WE DON'T KNOW SH#T!
If you know so much then OK, become an Adviser, Manager or Promoter...Go Ahead! :lol1:

Wow, your racial animus for Deontay Wilder in particular and black people in general knows no boundaries and is very toxic. Deontay Wilder's, Al Haymon's and the PBC's success must really burn you. You are really hurting on the inside. I feel very sorry for you. You have my deepest condolences.
Would you care to expand on my hatred for black people? Cuz this is worrying news for me and i think it will be a real shock to my family.
More lies. Wilder's excuse was that DAZN wouldn't tell him how much AJ would be payed.
