The undercard was solid too. I remember Leo fought and Thurman fought. I’m originally from Arkansas and Jermain Taylor was fighting somebody in front of an empty audience when my friends and I arrived. Once I looked at the TVs in there and realized Jermain was currently fighting, I had to run in there and start screaming for him. Nobody had gotten there yet and I seemed to be the only person really excited about watching Taylor. Lol
It’s a shame what has become of him.
Dude I was pissed I missed the Taylor fight. I found out the day before he was fighting so I told my wife we would go early to catch his fight. When I arrived I was told he fought earlier than they said. Talk about disappointed. It was a great night of boxing though. Took some pics, talked to a lot of fighters, and even signed some autographs for casuals who thought I was a fighter :lol1:
I was at that Broner vs Maidana fight. I did not sit down during the main event, that fight was awesome. Props to Chino. Actually I was sitting across from Spence that night, he was mad cool and took a few pics with me and the wife
But to answer the OP's question, Spence vs Porter

Damn thats a good question.... Ima have to lean towards Spence/Porter. Canelo/Kov could end up boring with Canelo boxing to a UD.
Spence/Porter is guaranteed fireworks
Spence vs Porter.
Errol is my favorite fighter and Porter is a rough guy and a World Champion. This would be a dream come true for me.
Plus, I haven’t been to a fight since Maidana vs Broner in San Antonio. I’m about due for one.

Spence vs porter is gonna be a snooze fest. I don’t like ****ty fights.
Canelo vs. The worlds most feared man - Kova easily.
News flash: Kovalev is not the worlds most feared man anymore. Lol

Let’s see
2 Prime WWs in a unification fight , With the Winner making a case Their #1 in the Division
Or
The Sports Cash Cow jumping up in weight fighting a 36 Year old who’s on the slide , been beat down 2x in the last 2 years , weakest strap holder in the division who’s got 1 foot out the door , but was the man at 175lb 3-4 years ago , who has a known name but it currently outweighs his actual place in the Sport
I think I’ll go with Spence / Porter , A fight that actually means something
It would only mean something if Porter actually won. If it goes as expected Spence will win it going away in a fight marred with excessive clinching.
Kovalev/Canelo is likely to be all action and meaningful no matter who wins.
Hope you’re right about Spence/Porter but I’m thinking there is little chance.

Porter will steer clear of Spence all night and try to survive. On the other-hand Kovalev's size and jab will give Canelo problems not to mention the extra weight that Canelo will have to carry will be a burden on his stamina making this a much more competitive fight. These two fights are night and day.
