I have seen some threads by Wilder fanboys saying that Fury is overrated and such...but they don't think this stuff through.
If Fury is overrated right now, that means Wilder definitely is since he couldn't even beat him and got clearly outboxed by the man. Think about it...Fury has beaten no one of note since his comeback.
The only legitimate opponent he faced was Wilder, but how good is Wilder really?
Wilders best win is Ortiz, someone who doesn't have a good resume. Then the question becomes how good is Ortiz actually? His best wins is Jennings and Ortiz was a 40 y/o with high blood pressure who almost wasn't cleared to fight vs Wilder. And still, he almost got Wilder out of there. Ortiz entire reputation is build around the eye test and him giving Wilder problems.
The same goes for Fury right now, he is considered #1 by some because he beat Klitschko 4 years ago (before his long lay-off) and because he outboxed Wilder.
But why is Wilder put on this pedestal? Fury just went life and death with Otto Wallin. That's the same Fury who outboxed Wilder.
Add to that the thin resume of Wilder and I think we got a case of a fighter being more hype than substance here. You got to ask yourself why Fury hasn't fought someone in the top 10 yet apart from Wilder after 5 fights back?
So how do we know how good Fury and Wilder really are right now? They haven't proven themselves against anyone but eachother. And if both are very overrated right now, it might explain why someone like Wallin could do so well Vs Fury. He is not the same fighter he was 4 years ago, not even remotely.
Edit: the title is a **** show...sorry for that
hahaha yeah right. Fury was hitting Wilder with punches after he got KOd? He must be really special then. Wilder won about 3 rounds, Wallin won more rounds...how embarrassing
The big druggie bum will NEVER be the same after being baptize
by The Bronze Bomber! FACTS!
Eh idk man, that's just guessing. If we just look at how he prepared, we must say he was motivated for the fight. I like Fury and thought he beat Wilder as well, but I always thought it was impossible for him to be the same fighter after that horrible lay off where he abused his body. I'm guessing we are seeing it now.
I also thought he’d never be the same but I don’t think he’s declined much at all tbh, the reflexes, speed etc look pretty similar to me, maybe he’s a little less mobile but that’s about it IMO.
Just basing off what I saw in the ring, Fury looked quite disinterested to me. You also have to give Wallin credit as well for pressing the action and making it competitive in spots, he’s a better fighter than I thought tbf.
It was definitely one fight before. He fought Cunningham, then had one fight against Joey Abell before facing Chisora/Hammer/Wlad.
He was motivated physically but mentally you could see he didn’t have the same focus that he had against Wilder, Wlad etc. Fury does this a lot, he often fights down to the level of his opposition.
I thought Fury beat Wilder but I don’t think he looked as good as he did against Klitschko/Chisora, but I also give Wilder credit for continually pressing the action and taking risks to land punches, even if that meant being soundly outboxed in the process. Wlad and Chisora we’re not prepared to take those risks and that’s why they both ended up having such little success.

2 fights before...
The thing is tho, I don't think he was unmotivated. He was the lightest he has been since his comeback, he was clearly in shape. And to be the lightest he has been so far means that he must have been motivated. That's just guessing. Not what the facts show us. His weight shows me he was very motivated but had alot of problems with Wallin for whatever reason it may be. I felt he didn't look at his best at all, also in the Wilder fight. Schwarz fight was just a mismatch so I don't take much from that.

He did KTFO out of that big UK bum! The ref said he woke that big idiot up for the good of the sport! I guess he was right because you bum breeders are still nut hugging the big druggie bum!

The Cunningham fight was only one fight before Chisora/Hammer/Klitschko.
The point remains the same you can’t really take much from an under-motivated Fury struggling slightly with Wallin. He’s done this before, he’ll probably do it again but when it matters most he performs.

He was at his best in 2014/15. That was not when he went life and death with those guys

There's no argument that you're a moron though.
I mean seriously, has anyone ever said anything positive about your decision making?
Ok so what rounds did you have Wilder winning apart from the knockdown rounds then?
You are upset because I question their current ability. Tell me who Fury has beaten to convince us he is still #1 after his comeback?
Wallin probably was underrated, but you could argue he won more rounds than Wilder. So how good are Fury and Wilder even right now? That's what I'm asking...
They're both better than Joshua and Povetkin.
No it proves everyone just jumps on the bandwagon 'wallin who? who is that bum, fury ko inside 3 rounds' literally everyone was saying that, i think i was one of the only guys that actually saw a Wallin fight, the only thing it proves is Wallin was underrated.
