As I said several times before, there's a reason Canelo is chasing Kovalev and running from the GGG trilogy. Everyone except a few fangirls on NSB seem to realize that, odds for Kovalev vs Canelo are out and Canelo is already a 8:1 favorite, while Canelo is in 50/50 matchups if he fought Golovkin or Callum Smith.

Theres the reason Canelo picked Kovalev and not a third fight with GGG or faced Callum Smith who were both 50/50 fights, even vs Billy Joe Saunders Canelo is only a 3:1 favorite.
Numbers dont lie.
Triple G was frightened of Froch and Ward much less Kovalev, people are getting ridiculous.
Also Canelo is -400, Kovalev +300 which is still great odds but nowhere was he a 8-1 dog.
Even Felix Sturn kicked the **** out of Hoya at 15-1 odds. He didn’t win but any real fight fan saw him win unanimously.
The more I cap the fight, the more I favor Kovalev.
- -Canelo long time sparmate with GGG who has prob sparred Kov and certainly hits as hard.
Odds are set to capture the know it all suckers, ie most boxing fans.
Canelo has sparred Golovkin in the past but they are not "long time sparmates" by any means. And yes, Golovkin has also sparred Kovalev, but I'm not sure how that is relevant nor do I believe that as hard of a puncher as Golovkin is, that he hits as hard as a heavy-handed natural 175lber like Kovalev.
Golovkin's jab worked beautifully against Canelo. Do you suggest that a considerably bigger man with an equally potent jab won't be able to land on Canelo?
I don't think people realise how much smaller Canelo is than Kovalev. Canelo may have a good chin at 160 but he's never been hit by a big 175lber with very heavy hands. Not to mention Kovalev is an excellent boxer with those long, straight, accurate combinations. If he outboxed Ward, he can most definitely outbox Canelo.
The only question is the weight. If there is a catchweight and/or rehydration clause, it might as well be Manny vs. Oscar at this point in Kovalev's career. But if it's a legitimate fight at 175lbs with no added BS, Canelo is in trouble here and those 1/8 odds are ridiculous.

I think this odds are way too wide the size difference gonna be bigger then people expect and yes csnelo is great to the body I don’t know the more I think about this fight the more I think kov should win as crazy as it sounds
This is a legit great feat.
Canelo is a small 160 going up against top 3 175 pounder that has proven ko power. He just came back on Yarde and knocked out the hungriest of fighters. Canelo is in for the fight of his life.
8-1 is a gift and worth a few hundred. I favored Canelo but those odds are too good
To pass up.
More like a suckers bet to me
People living on nostalgia
But definitely great odds
Translator was shirtless because he bet every last ruble, plus his best shirt, on his comrade, Sergey. :-)
Lol
Not sure what the fugh that was
Just weird

Kovalev getting good odds but he won't win a decision. Can he knock Canelo out? Maybe, but I doubt it.
Canelo may stop him late with body work if anything.
See those are great odds if you think the old man can win. He factually can not win a decision over Canelo so only other option is if he can KO Canelo. I dont think he can, thats why even though those are great odds, I dont see a path for the old man just getting off a tough grueling fight to win. Thats why I wont lay money on him. The Over/Under is where i'll be interested.
