His manager Kornilov a while said that they have a choice and they've been negotiating with some future opposition, so i think you cant call it a last minute opponent, he should be at least in shape and not coming of some layout, any 5 to 15 175lbs

I read that Bivol against Browne was to be made (probably the fight after Bivol's next one), but Pascal threw a spanner in the works. Props to Pascal though.

Ah yes so Top Rank has all the other 3 LHW champs. So no I couldn't see him fighting any of them in Oct since they are all tied up. I guess the general consensus is that he should sign with Top Rank or move down to Super Middle Weight and mix things up there.

If Eddie can't get him a good opponent he should sign with Top Rank

No idea. Not sure who they have at LHW. I could see him fighting some lower ranked euro guy to stay busy possibly, while eyeing the Gvozdyk/Beterbiev winner. He says he doesn't want to fight his own countryman so hopefully Gvozdyk wins that one. Would be a better fight I think anyway. All I know is I don't wanna see him fight Jean Pascal again now that he has retained some relevancy after roughing up Marcus Browne. Well it should be the co-main event or what have you. I hope anyway, but yeah I'm not sure exactly. I'm not in the press or have any sources, just noticed that on boxrec and thought I'd make a thread and ask others. I hear you Just weird that all
