Anthony Joshua is set to take on Andy Ruiz Jr in December in a rematch following his shock defeat to him in June. But Tyson Fury has not forgotten about his old rival as British fans continue to dream of a bout between the two. And Joshua has revealed how the Gypsy King randomly' rings him up to tell him he will knock him out. Click Here To Read More]
Doesn't change the fact that it's trash. Yarde was an unproven prospect with barely any experience as a pro and amateur combined, Joshua was an Olympic gold medalist with experience at championship level and experience fighting Wlad too.
Yeah Yarde should just retired for losing to Kovalev, you sound like an idiot. Not everything that a boxer says should be taken as gospel. When you do so you make yourself look like a dosser. Doesn’t matter what level anyone fought at, you can rock up in the ring and lose. So because Yarde lost, and Joshua lost they should “Retire”?
If Fury had lost to McDermott when he was given the decision in their first fight, maybe he should have “Retired” too.
Yeah am a massive fan of his, but I don’t take everything he says as the gospel. So yeah the comparison was right am afraid, only an idiot would think otherwise.
For you, my four greens says sane people agrees with me.

Secondly, Kovalev was a proven former unified champion and two time champion when Yarde fought him, Ruiz was an unknown bum when Joshua lost to him.
Again, no comparison whatsoever between the two situations, a couple of idiots agreeing with you just means exactly that, a couple of idiots agree with you.
not yet. your mom's insatiable appetite means there's more moaning to come. In fact, I think she's ready for ****... so the neighbors will hear her, too.
sorry if it disturbs your thinking... but lets be honest, you're not very good at thinking to begin with.
Lolx...if this is what you call thinking , you better take your brain to the dry cleaners. You are far from thinking like a **** sapien.
If they fight the best then, most times, it's inevitable that they're gonna take a loss it two. No shame in that, it's just what happens. However, in Joshua's case, I do think that if he loses to Ruiz again he probably will retire.
That sounds right.
Beating (a very old) Vlad was an achievement in itself. If he lsoes twice to Ruiz, I am not sure what intrigue remains. He's reached his ceiling , and there really isn't any more to be gained.
Honestly, the fact that Fury and Wilder were so ready and willing to mix it up, while Joshua was chronicaly unavailable might have been the first sign that Joshua's whole enterprise is a smoke-and-mirrors trick.
Can you go back to your basement and quit smoking crack?
I don’t know why he said what he said, but it doesn’t make any sense. We are now becoming a sport where you have to be undefeated. There is nothing wrong with having 30 or 40 fights with one or two losses. As long as you face the best quality. I might like a boxer but I can also call him out when he chats s hit. It seems a lot of posters on here basically worship some of these boxers, anything they say is the gospel to them.
Ive mentioned this before on here, anyone whos lost a fight is a bum. An elite fighter who even has a wobble is exposed. These so called fans have watched too many Steven Seagel films, where the hero is untouchable. As for Fury, he can be smart and insightful, but like BHop, he seriously likes the sound of hes own voice and tries far too hard nowadays. I noticed Ben Davidson being silly in interviews now too, playing guru. It just goes to their heads it seems.
Tbh though, Yarde is seeking bigger paydays and probably hasnt earned a fortune. AJs secure and if he loses to Ruiz the only way is down so Fury is right in this case. Why risk it? What he said about Yarde was stupid though, but then again he also thought Yarde was a better boxer than Sergey. I think he was just trying to be controversial.

Just like Yarde should retire if he couldn’t beat Kovalev? Fury comes out with outlandish comments too many times, great boxer but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a dosser. It’s like that clown (Lennox Lewis), great fighter but a bitter little man.

Your example is trash. There is no comparison at all.
Fury speaks like rival there. I just hope he fights somebody with the pulse next after Wallin. If not Wilder, than he should fight Ruiz or Joshua or Kownacki, Povetkin, Parker -Chisora winner, Whyte.
Fury’s obsessed with retirement - he likes to preach going to extremes. Should probably give his cousin Hughie a call if he really wants someone to retire.
