Both young fighters who are getting hyped up.
Teo supposedly got the better of the sparring match they had but Devin denies this.
The have one common opponent Mason Menard which Teo finished in 1 round while Haney went 9 and was mostly on the back foot that fight.
Teo seems more explosive but Haney might be better at boxing idk its close.
Haney in every sense outside of power.
Better fundamentals, speed, athleticism, reflexes, ring I.Q
Kids the closest thing I've seen to a young PBF.
Haney is a special talent imo
I don't see anything particularly special about Lopez nothing but a solid, no thrills prospect doing a good job of calling out names for promotion.
:lol1: :lol1:
He’s closer to Mayweather SR than JR.
Teo has mental cracks because the bully persona foundation always comes from overcompensating from something missing and all his over-the top behavior will only cause his downfall and we're already seeing those cracks. Teo is too easy to hit, on the other hand Haney shows a more genuine confidence and I think clearly has better skills. Haney is my pick.
I say Haney. He appears to be more the polished and refined of the two at this current stages of their careers.
Likewise, he appears to be the more scientific and fundamentally sound of the two as well.
Lopez is perhaps the stronger puncher of the two but he is also a lot slower than Haney too.
They are both young studs. Haney has shown more facets to his game so far, but I have to see them in against top level competition before I can determine who will have a better career.
Devin Haney has the potential to be the Best of the 20-30 decade. I'd be willing to go down on record, like when Larry claimed the same about Adrien Broner with that belief.
I like both. I think Teo is more explosive but Haney is better in overall skill. Haney also seems to have the edge mentally thus far but we will have to see more down the road when he is really tested. I didn't like that interview with Kellerman that Lopez did, he didn't seem like he was all in when it comes to boxing while Haney seems really dedicated.
Good post...I co-sign this

Teofimo is by far the more polished of the two *now* but this will be an interesting question in 5 years.
Teo has a higher potential as a star due to his style and if he doesnt lose, oh man. Haney has the right style for longevity and to be a problem for a long time to come. We’ll see. Once the rawness and slapping and overall greenness is gone, Haney should def be a stud....unless he’s like bradley and just slaps forever
