So GGG gets slighted by many on here for wanting a fight (and a rematch after two competitive/controversial fights) with the consensus best (outside of GGG imo) MW in the world...and when that fight doesn't come he decides to take on a guy pretty clearly ranked in the top 5 (Dervy would probably be number 4 imo... below Andrade but ahead of Charlo if I had to rank them right now).
But for some, GGG should have fought the guy ranked 3rd or 5th instead...they say GGG is 'ducking' these guys...they say that Charlo, for example, really wants the GGG fight, and that GGG not fighting him, and choosing to fight Dervy, constitutes a duck and they want to slight GGG for that.
Charlo goes on to fight Brandon Adams and Dennis Hogan...Dennis Hogan being a career 154 pound fighter and Brandon Adams the same guy they were ready to kill GGG for when GGG was rumored to fight him.
So to break it down - when GGG wants to fight the top guy, and the top guy doesn't want it...and GGG decides to fight the number 4 guy instead...somehow the top guy doesn't get any real blame, in part because he is rumored to be facing a quality opponent, yet GGG is still given criticism here.
When Charlo 'wants' (for the record I don't really think Charlo or GGG 'wants' that fight...low reward and fairly high risk to both - especially considering other options) to fight the top guy (in GGG), and the fight doesn't happen, and Charlo decides to fight a literal 'who'...no one gives Charlo any real criticism for that.
So when you want to fight a top guy and the fight doesn't happen...and you instead fight the number 4 guy...then you receive criticism.
But when you 'want' to fight a top guy and the fight doesn't happen...and you instead fight maybe the number 10 guy from the previous weight class...somehow you are good?
Andrade has more of a case imo after fighting Sulecki...but no one should really give him a pass either if he doesn't fight someone good in his next fight...and again...why don't Charlo and Andrade fight each other?? Lol....seems like it would solve the case of them both needing a good opponent.
The truth of course is that Charlo Andrade and GGG would all fight each other...and would all be competitive fights in some ways if they fought...those fights are rather high risk and low reward for all participants...they all want the Canelo payday but Canelo as the cash king has other options always, and is looking in other directions.
To act like any of those guys/their teams really want to mix it up right now is silly imo...and maybe some in reading this thread will realize they are not really keeping it real with their critiques...we can all root for who we want and have our own opinions.
But when some have vastly different takes on very similar situations, it is just not a good look...and we shouldn't really present our opinions on here as if they were factual...just doesn't lead to productive discussions.
Really don't get this love affair with Charlo fighting Golovkin. It's not a competitive fight IMO. Charlo gets beaten convincingly. I'd love to see it as a Golovkin fan.
Lol...you literally wrote as much as I did man lol...and that took me like 5 mins man.
But hope you have a great day man! No hard feelings and I hope you can set aside your biases in the future and just judge a man on his character...best wishes!
You're sure you're not a woman?
Shut up man, I'm not going to read a focking fanboy novel. Don't you have anything else to do?
Nothing I really even said in my post was really pro GGG anyway lol...anyway best wishes my friend!
Shut up man, I'm not going to read a focking fanboy novel. Don't you have anything else to do?
Lol...you literally wrote as much as I did man lol...and that took me like 5 mins man.

Lol dude no offense..but why do you get so emotional about it lol...you sound very young as well, and name-calling just because someone has a different opinion than you...not a good look my friend.
To suppose that Charlo moved up solely because he wanted to fight GGG...I mean that is just wild...guys move up for all sorts of reasons...a lot of times it is because they can't make the weight at the previous level.
Yeah as I've said I think Charlo is a tough fight for GGG in the sense that GGG is getting older, and his slowing down coincides with Charlo's strengths, which is his athleticism and explosiveness.
Also to your point about Charlo being slow-walked or not 'fed' to GGG...look at how his team has handled him at 160...he fought Heiland, Centeno, Korobov and Adams...and maybe Hogan next...they are obviously being cautious with him man, and all around probably a good decision.
Also - you must be a little new to boxing...when a champ moves up he doesn't necessarily get the mando spot...that is up to the org's discretion...and for the record Charlo wasn't given mando status at 160...he had to fight Heiland first.
Btw...a lot of guys become mandos and then don't force the fight with the top beltholder...they like having the status of a belt, even if it is the junior belt...and taking the money/step aside money that sometimes comes with the belt.
But in any event my friend...no offense...but a lot of your comments/remarks there are really kind of nasty and also kind of all over the place...you just seem to have a bit of an agenda here rather than just analyzing the situation in full...embellishing/twisting a narrative to suit your preferred view.
I mean even your comments about GGG's slow hands and bad reflexes and unmoving head lol...he has never been close to outlanded on in a fight...fair to point out he is getting older and is not the quickest, but to over the top hate like that just exposes ya a bit.
I just don't think you keep it very real here and that's ok...and I will wish you well my friend! Have a great day.
Shut up man, I'm not going to read a focking fanboy novel. Don't you have anything else to do?
If he didn't want the fight, he wouldn't of moved up, dad.
Same answer. And he shouldn't be shamed for not fighting other top fighters when he has a guaranteed chance at the belt. Stop defending champions ducking when it makes your fighter look bad.
Feed him to GGG? lol. He's the champion. He moves up, he gets the mandatory spot. How long have you been watching boxing?
I'll tell you something though, Sanchez clearly didn't seem eager to "feed" GGG to Charlo anytime soon.
I think him vs GGG or Canelo would make a lot more sense, don't you think? But unfortunately, none of these two seem to be interested.
Probably because you're brilliant, or a my dad, or a combination of both.
Being mandatory gives him a guaranteed shot at Canelo or at least the belt. Both options better than losing for nothing.
Gee, what is a bigger sign of intent, calling out someone (which he actually did) or forcing him to fight him by becoming his mandatory?
Given Golovkin's slow hands, bad reflexes, and unmoving head, Charlo would actually stand a pretty good chance IMO. Win or lose, Golovkin could get seriously hurt.
Sanchez was very wise in not wanting him to fight Charlo.
You don't have to quote the boogeyman. When a manager comes out and says that they will never fight ou and your trainer comes out publicly to protest your mandatory spot, then you know you're scary. When was the last time that happened?
You're not analyzing anything dad. GGG is the second best fight in the division for Charlo, everyone knows it except his fanbase, one of the most cowardly boxing has ever seen. The type of fanbase who supports GGG dropping a belt to fight a junior middleweight, but can't understand when a fighter is trying to secure a shot at a title by not taking unnecessary risks.
Lol dude no offense..but why do you get so emotional about it lol...you sound very young as well, and name-calling just because someone has a different opinion than you...not a good look my friend.

Idk man I don't really see the rationale for people saying Charlo really wants that fight...he pretty clearly imo mainly moved up because he was a huge JMW, and with his brother at JMW and not many other options, going to 160 was a better overall move.
If he didn't want the fight, he wouldn't of moved up idiot.
If his TWIN brother can make the weight, I'm pretty sure he could too.
He also never really fought any of the top guys at 154...not that all of that was his fault imo...but he hasn't really fought anyone that good at MW now and has had like 5 fights...if he was fighting anyone and everyone I would agree that he seems like he is willing to fight anyone/GGG.
Same answer. And he shouldn't be shamed for not fighting other top fighters when he has a guaranteed chance at the belt. Stop defending champions ducking when it makes your fighter look bad.
But at the present time he seems like he is being carefully managed...and no problem with that on my end..I actually advocated for his team to do that when he was coming up to 160 and his 'fans' on here wanted to feed him to GGG or another top guy right away.
Feed him to GGG? lol. He's the champion. He moves up, he gets the mandatory spot. How long have you been watching boxing?
I'll tell you something though, Sanchez clearly didn't seem eager to "feed" GGG to Charlo anytime soon.
I do think it is time for his team to find him a big fight though - I think him vs Andrade makes a lot of sense and could probably get done - or if they want to stay in house, he can fight someone at 168 on PBC...but I think it is kind of now or never for them/him to put him in with someone else of good quality.
I think him vs GGG or Canelo would make a lot more sense, don't you think? But unfortunately, none of these two seem to be interested.
I also don't really see the angle of him protecting his mandatory...the Canelo fight is the prize for everyone, but even if Charlo has that spot there is no way Canelo would fight him unless he wants to...and at this point with what Charlo has done, he is unfortunately still a low reward high risk fight for anyone around 160.
Probably because you're dumb, or a casual, or a combination of both.
Being mandatory gives him a guaranteed shot at Canelo or at least the belt. Both options better than losing for nothing.
I just don't really see the rationale of saying Charlo 'clearly' wanted that fight...unless prompted I have NEVER heard him mention GGG's name, and rarely heard him even call out Canelo...
Gee, what is a bigger sign of intent, calling out someone (which he actually did) or forcing him to fight him by becoming his mandatory?
to be honest I think he is pretty comfortable fighting lesser tier guys for decent money right now, rather than stepping up to the big time and possibly being badly exposed...he was never really a great amateur/guy with skills, always gotten by on natural ability.
Given Golovkin's slow hands, bad reflexes, and unmoving head, Charlo would actually stand a pretty good chance IMO. Win or lose, Golovkin could get seriously hurt.
Sanchez was very wise in not wanting him to fight Charlo.
If he stepped up and got embarrassed or KOed, all that shine is gone and the 'boogeyman' status some are giving him disappears...
You don't have to quote the boogeyman. When a manager comes out and says that they will never fight ou and your trainer comes out publicly to protest your mandatory spot, then you know you're scary. When was the last time that happened?
yeah from analyzing all of that I just don't really see the rationale that anyone can see either Charlo or GGG wants to fight the other one...not from being scared...but they both have other options that are less risk/same or even more reward.

I dont hate GGG the fighter at all. Hes a great fighter, but his attitude and personality are horrible. And his fans, you, are even worse. So I belittle the prick.
Triple L ducked Andre Ward after saying "anyone from 154-168" and directly said Andre Ward can happen...Andre Ward accepted then LLL needed a catchweight, but would still fight Froch and JCC Jr. at 168. That's called ducking.
Then the REVERSE happened. Borat/LLL called out Canelo and Cotto who were both smaller fighters. They requested a Catchweight (just like Borat did with Ward) and Borat refused them both. Borat even refused WW KELL BROOK who wanted 157, but Diva Borat refused THAT TOO.
So Borat requesting a CW against a larger fighter is the LARGER fighter ducking...and...smaller fighters requesting CW with Borat is the SMALLER fighters ducking. How does that even make sense?
DIVA Borat can do no harm in the minds of his fanboys. It's insane.
Lol...man I don't think you keep it real at all, so I will just give ya a thumbs up and wish you a great day!!
I have no problem with the fight...and tbh i didnt see too many people complaining about either
I guess sometimes a small percentage of posters can be the most vocal..maybe making it seem like there is more opposition to the fight than there really is
- -You gotta thing for Charlene and Androgynous.
That's what hotel rooms are for.
Lol wow never been accused of being a Charlo or Andrade fanboy...that's a first...anyone who doesn't give them at least a chance to beat GGG or Nelo right now is just very biased imo...I would favor GGG and Nelo to win those fights but the only KO would likely come if GGG and Charlo fought...and Charlo has a shot to KO G as well.
And no one is beating Andrade 12-0...he could get KOed too though, never really had the chin tested at the highest level...but I don't see how anyone can pick Canelo to dominate or stop him...Andrade is same level as Trout/Lara/Jacobs and we saw how those fights went.
Many people saw Canelo win twice, but he had to settle for 1-0-1.
The point my friend is that you call GGG names and appear to think very little of him...and the man that you revere had two very tough fights with him...how you can hate on one's level and love the other is non-sensical

This is essentially a digital version of sucking dick. Jesus
Nearly all of Borat supporters behave like this. Its racism and they use the exact same tactics as Pac fanboys did. Travesty and waste of human space
In other news the actual fight between Borat and Dervenchenko should be good and I'm happy both guys stepped up. Was surprised by Borat who ducked Sergeiy in the past, but am happy hes hopefully beyond the Vanes and Rolls of the world...probably expecting too much XD
Lol..how can you really hate on GGG when many people saw him beat Canelo twice...seems odd to me...but do you :)
Name calling makes you look small and childlike btw
Exactly(if one sucks the other is not far behind) why cant others understand that??? They crap on fighters whose legacy will depend on how they do vs these other fighters. Nice post and wish more would think same.
Yep...thank you...well said with the bold...
