I'll keep it short and simple
AJ has a bigger fanbase
He had the rematch clause in the contract
He has headlined numerous PPV events
Broke PPV records in Britain
So what is it guys, do you just hate seeing a Brit be successful? These stupid notions of a fight in Mexico they're ridiculous! Last I checked when you're born in America and primarily were raised there then fighting in Mexico isn't finally you having a home fight.
Before anyone says it, whilst it might have been AJ idea to expand his fanbase across the seas what difference does it make win or loss? He doesn't need the fight to happen there again. The whole reason this stupid corrupt location in Saudi is happening is because of Ruiz acting like a b*tch, if Ruiz is worried about the fairness of Britain well... Saudi isn't a country that is best known for following the rules.
I for one ain't no big AJ nuthugger, you'll find plenty of messages from me questioning him. Simple put what Ruiz has done is a total ***** move, we trade a 80-90k stadium for a small 8k stadium with blood thirsty Sheikhs.
No, he does not have a say. He's not going to the UK because Saudi Arabia paid more. If Hearn told fat boy he was fighting in the UK, his ass would be there or be in court. He doesn't HAVE to do anything, but he'll pay for it through the legal system if he doesn't. It's real simple, the rematch clause had everything specified in writing.
Herein lies Ruiz leverage. Hearn doesn't want court. Court is lengthy and expensive. Court could take years with preliminary motions, discovery, depositions, etc. You don't just get a court date in a week. This court case could tie up AJ for damn near the rest of his career.
Just look at the Canelo case. He just up and jumped his contract to sign with Oscar. It took All Star like 6 years to get an $8.5M judgement, only to have that nullified on appeal.
And most contracts dont have a location or all the details set for the rematch. So AJ can either negotiate with Ruiz on his desires and they can come to an agreement or he can fuk off and fight more cab drivers.
This is the thing that gets me for those who criticise AJ. There are lots of things to criticise him for, but ducking opponents is not one.

It’s got absolutely nothing to do with what is fair and not fair, what is wrong what is right........ it’s whatever is written in the contract “HE” signed......... really he’s got the right to do whatever he wants..... and Eddie Hearn will have the right to sue the **** out of him if he does so
All that yapping but NO suing :lol1:
You guys are so full of shet, the contract doesn't say anything about location.
He absolutely has a say in where he defends his belts. He said he wasn't going to UK, and guess what, he's not.
This should be simple to understand :dunno:

A-side is always going to dictate terms though, why would you potentially screw your percentage of $$$ gain? I think Ruiz has been either paying attention to too many trolls on Twitter or he genuinely feels this way.
If Ruiz was the bigger draw the fight would clearly be happening in his exact location that he wants which is Mexico. He has halted the rematch venue being brought about by him being a bitter cry baby, If he is gonna get screwed over it is more likely to be in Saudi than it is in Britain.
Only the Aj stans are crying :lol1:
How does suing Ruiz help the situation? Ruiz would eventually be stripped of all 4 belts and how long is it going to take for AJ to win them all back?
They can't sue, they fishing for excuses :lol1:
He doesn't have the right, if he doesn't agree the terms he will get his ass sued off. If you don't want to meet the terms of your opponent then why sign the proposed contract terms? Obviously Ruiz thought he was going to lose, he won the lottery and found an AJ that was off the ball.
Anthony Joshua is the draw in all of this and we all know he doesn't want it to happen abroad because his 'fans' are a new breed who probably couldn't afford a trip abroad.
I think I made it clear with my thread, my point was why do these idiots think it should happen there?
Why would anyone want the fight to be in the UK? Um maybe because that is where the biggest attraction would be, 80-90 thousand stadium would be locked and loaded, you Yanks are living in the 60-80's your days where you ruled boxing is OVER! You guys don't even have a big PPV star.
Yes, now you will use Whyte as an example but you won't use the numerous dodgy sh** that has happened in America.
Ward TKO'ing someone by lowblows
Maidana refused to fight on the inside against Mayweather in the rematch
Mayweather getting a TUE after he did it, clearly breaking the rules
The vast list of US steroid cheaters
That isn't a valid reason when you signed a contractual agreement to a rematch and you're not the draw.
I dunno dude a lot of stupid Brits are saying Ruiz has a say, I guess they don't understand the contractual agreement he signed. If Ruiz was the draw then sure he would have the say but he simply isn't.
Damn, them americans are beating you guys left & right that it has you guys posting emotions :lol1:
Only Wilder fans cum Ruiz fan girls think the fat Mexican who signed his life away has a say. The funniest thing is that the loudest village idiots saying that are Americans and no one gives a shi...tt about what they think. They're inconsequential in the scheme of things.
Wilder and his fans have the same IQ. IQ so low, it's lower than their shoe sizes, lool.
You going to look real silly if Ruiz drops & stops Aj again :lol1:
That doesn't even make sense, you proved my point.
what part's not making sense, lad?
you're a british hooligan
you're supporting eddie hearn as he tries to get a man killed. this isn't corking a baseball bat, son. it's letting a guy take anabolic steroids and tamper with boxing gloves. several men have died in the last month in boxing rings. eddie and the BBBoC are doing this for money. andy ruiz, nor any other fighter who isn't truly desperate, will not be going to corrupt f#cking england to fight for a world title at HW. that ship has sailed!
this fight is not going to happen next. not evn f#cking joshua was at the press conference. hearn claims to have partnered with a saudi company SPECIALIZING IN MARKETING with virtually no web presence whatsoever.
joshua is going to head back to a stadium in england, blow up like he man, and beat up a fringe contender. they may even resurrect dillian whyte's steroid riddled corpse from what should be a lifetime ban.
you're all going to jail when eddie hearn gets caught trying to help one of his boxers murder somebody.
That's a possibility, and I'm sure Hearn would like people, especially AJ's UK fans, to believe it.
But the $50million license fee offered by the Saudi venue is the real reason the fight landed there instead of Cardiff, imo.
I don't think Ruiz would have gone to Cardiff regardless
i thought it was understood that hearn and aj had dibs on location? aj wanted the us and hearn wanted the uk, then they picked a neutral location but ruiz wants more money being in Saudi arabia
You're are talking like an idiot now.
A boxing glove with steel horseshoes sewed into the lining is obviously going to weigh more than 6 oz.
 that's fair!
but he was on DBol so it's not like he's goign to get tired holding his gloves up.
We said it would be where Hearn or Joshua said it would be. They never confirmed anywhere but strong suggestion from Hearn was it looking like Cardiff. Now the way Ruiz and the Deontay Ruiz fans on here are acting it sounds like that Saudi Arabia was not anything to do with Team Ruiz either.
You guys demanded neutral, and when you get neutral you are Still not happy and demand America. We get these same stupid games from PBC fighters and their drooling moronic fans all the time.
We had Brits making threads that I the fight had already been confirmed for Cardiff. "That fat Mexican will show up when and where we tell him to" is what some of you guys told us. Joshua wanted Cardiff. Hearn wanted Cardiff.
Andy said no UK.
The fight is not in UK.
Spin it how you want. You guys have been telling us for weeks that the fight would be in Cardiff.

Sorry to get pissy, I just have a low tolerance for stupidity. As you admit, this should be easy to understand, yet you're asking questions. What part of "I'm not going to UK" versus "the fight is going to be in Saudi Arabia" are you failing to comprehend?
Or, are you considering the fact that Eddie conceded Cardiff as a location, and negotiated the venue with Ruiz, as a victory of some sorts?

you are a british pretending to be american, and you'll be just as guilty as eddie hearn when his 250 lb fighter goes out htere with a 6 oz glove on dbol and kills a man.
You're are talking like an idiot now.

That doesnt mean Hearn and Joshua could not of demanded he go to the UK. That doesnt prove that Ruiz has some say in the contract. It sounds very much like Ruiz and the Deontay Ruiz fans dont want it in Saudi either but its been announced. So just how much of a say DOES he have?
Spin it how you want. You guys have been telling us for weeks that the fight would be in Cardiff.
