I remember Taylor hurting Froch badly and being well ahead when Froch came from behind to score a KO in the last round Froch was easy to hit and Pavlik hit much harder than Taylor. Pavlic had a great left jab. With both men at their best I slightly favor Froch at 168 because he is the bigger man and always fought at 168 while Pavlic was a middleweight. PFP I like the prime 160 pound Pavlik a bit more than the prime 168 pound Froch.

50/50 to me. This is a fight that would of have to of been made to get the results.

i ll tel you something. if hopkins would have come across the pavlik who went against taylor he would have had to go to davy jones locker deep to get that win. i ve always associated the punishment that pavlik got vs miranda and taylor x2 with him going off the rails prior the hopkins fight ( drinking etc.)

Pavlik was better boxer and hit harder, Froch was more durable. SD win for Pavlik

Pavlik was a force at MW but never carried it up. Froch UD, narrow but clear and not without several danger moments for both.

One of the fights that I wanted and never got. Too close to call. One thing was Hopkins took Pavlik's soul and he was done with boxing.
